This happened to me the other day where the left stick just kept sticking in the up position I just wiggled it about:shock: for a few minutes and now it's fine.

However something a little more serious is happening with my controller and I don't l if this has anything to do with version 2 or not but sometimes when I now go to load a game (within the game) the controller doesn't work.

I have to either turn the controller on and off or re-assign the controller or sometimes neither of those work and I have to quit the game all together and re-load it. And that isn't always a guarantee that it will work. Also when I do eventually load the game the game itself sometimes hangs can anybody help?

My PS2 and PS1 controllers did that too. Just something about the way the make the analog sticks I guess.

Probably caused by the sweat and oil in the hands and it affects the material the analogs are made of.

You can get dust (whick is 80% dead skin) and oil in the analog groove, which can stick it up. you can try cleaning it, or just get a new one.

Thats correct. My PS2 controller had the same thing (well after 5 years of extensive use lol). All you will need to do is open the controller and clean with cotton the stick, you will see that its dirty.
