i went a year with almost no controller problems whats so ever now all the sudden it stopped working.

i searched the forums but no ones controller was doing the same thing as mine.

the controller connects fine but when i hit the PS button to get to the menu(i talking about how you hold the ps button to turn off the controller or shut off the system) the "X" and the "O" buttons stop working but the analogs still work normal. this means i am stuck on this because the back button doesnt work and the confirm button doesnt work. i know it has to do something with this controller cause my other one works fine.

any ideas? i think i will probably end up forking out $50 for another controller

and i already tried resetting it with the button in the back.

you should get a Dual Shock 3 not just because of rumble. The sticks are more responsive, more precise. It's a better controller all around

It is not exactly the same. The sticks are improved. You can tell an immediate difference, especially when you play a shooter like Call of Duty 4. They take a little getting used to but the are better
