Hi all, I have a fairly new PS3 slim, only really played a couple of games on it so far and the controllers gone iffy. It's all fully charged and as far as I can tell synched, but the buttons don't do anything, the directional sticks do but that's it. Any help would be really appreciated as my nephew is desperate to get back playing, and yeah so am I.:D

Your controller may need resetting. There is a reset button, use a pin or paper clip and reset your controller. then it should work.

Thanks for the advice but it's still the same, I can move the direction sticks but the buttons do not respond, weird huh!

Can anyone suggest anything to help please I'm still having this problem and I can't even figure out how to go about returning the controller/system as amazon say that it's past the return date and I can't find a way to contact Sony about it as their site just runs me in circles leading to manuals but no actual way of talking to anyone to get any help. Their site tells me to go to the forums but they are "down for maintenence" and have been for months. Needless to say this is very frustrating, I keep waiting for the site to come back up to ask someone but it never does, the next thing will be that it's past the 12 month warrenty and I've never been able to use the bloody thing.
