convert from 1080i to 1080p

is this possible i have LG  42 inch hdtv with 1080i is this possible that i convert it into 1080p using any

cable or something

if yes then plz explain how to do it.

no, it's inside the TV, unless you can get brand new insides, then no, but don't open it up, by the way, it only 42"? ou won't notice too much of a difefrence, just use 720p, better than 1080i for games

Yeah, the tv is not physically capable of displaying 1080p.  It's not something that a cable can fix.  However, despite what everyone else says, or what everyone else keeps repeating whether they have seen it for themselves or not, I can easily see a difference between 720p and 1080p on my 40 inch tv.  I'm not really sure why so many people say they can't.

Close up yes. But not from 8-10 feet away which is normal distance from a TV.
