Convince me to get a PS3..

I thought it was your job to make up your own mind. Not ours? I could be wrong tho'. But if you wanna be covered so you get to play the great exclusives on both systems, then get a PS3 and have both the 360 and PS3. Also there's tons of features. Why not read the sticked thread to learn more about the PS3?

Free online for a game you bought, GREAT! No systems problems like "Red Rings" from lunch system. Wireless controllers that are changeable and come standard in every ps3 system. Optional backwards capability. Blue ray player when you buy a ps3. Great line up of games. Future progress looks great, HOME, ps3 answer to xbox's gamer tag etc. Great idea.Last, Wifi, if you want to be wireless as possible, ps3 is for you.

Most people can't.. that's why they make topics like "should i get 'insert name of game #1' or "insert name of game #2' ?" .. and that's ALSO why they listen to reviews. they are to dumb to make up their own minds when browsing through the games at the store. it's so sad i could cry.. Wow, people are coming donw pretty hard on this guy. I think that from a games standpoint... it is a tougher decision than some of the responses seem to indicate.

And sure he can go and research all of the various reasons to buy each console, but it would be a lot easier to ask me, when I have it all committed to memory.

Anyhow, the PS3 is the most reliable gaming machine that has HD graphics. It has blu-ray, built in wi-fi, and free online service if you have a high speed internet connection.

It is hard to say which system has better games, as that is a subjective opinion and for everyone here who says the PS3 line-up is better, you can find a 360 fanboy that will argue the opposite. But for the reliability and blu-ray player alone... I'd get the PS3 over the 360 personally.
