how many of u here has convinced a friend to get a ps3? i have made six of my friends get the ps3. they were crazy about it wheni showedits features. its amazingmany peoplethink the ps3 is junk because they have never touched onebut when they see what it can do they r like "omg."tell me ur stories..
I havent convinced anyone yet as most of my gaming friends are also cheap and wont even plunk down $350 on a 360 let alone $500 on a PS3. However, I will say that in general I think those who doubt the PS3's capabilities or those who come on these forums and rip on it havent spent any real time with it outside of the kiosk at their local Walmart or Target. Simply put, the PS3 is a vastly superior machine Vs. the 360. It just needs the games to show it and they are on the way!By this time next year, the PS3 will have so many killer games that everyone will be wanting one.

The thing is that the systems that are displayed in stores are just setup in a basic mode. Where people that have them setup at home has the latest firmware installed and running. I had a satellite tech out one day that when I showed him how the PS3 would upscale a PS2 game he had to have one that day along with several of his friends that didn't know how the system would do this task along with other things. These guys were going to various stores to check the console out in the displays but never got to see the real power that was there.
I convinced myself but still no games I want yet? Hurry sony! You should probably wait like the prvious guy said untill this time next year to truly make people happy.
