Hey guys...

I'm getting my ps3 today, and I'm wondering about those coolers you see in stores that "supposedly" cools down the ps3 system that gets very hot by the way.

My question is, DOES IT REALLY WORKS?? DOES IT REALLY MAKES A PS3´s LIFE LAST LONGER??

Thanks, and

Later...

Don't bother. The system fan is 75% the size of the console. Just keep it well ventilated and don't worry about it.

That's a waste of money and will probably break your PS3. Your PS3 will be fine without any additional cooler.

yeah and plus the one i bought it would pop off and since its connected to the power it would shut my ps3 off and plus it screws the fan flow intake and outake so what it does is ruin the internal fans of theps3 so please just leave it on the shelve

I have the Nyko cooler (for a few weeks now) and it does work in keeping the PS3 cooler, but honestly if you keep the PS3 in out in the open you probably won't need it (try that first). Build quality of the Nyko cooler is also dubious; mine has started to make this loud annoying sound and I have to take it off and put it back on to make it go away (I'm not 100% sure what the problem is but I believe one of the fans seems to hitting plastic I push all the fan blades in on their axles and put it back on and the problem disappears). Not to mention, when cranked up to full power it's much louder then just the PS3.
