I feel the exact opposite, i loved co-op in gears campaign, me sitting in my room and my friend 1200 miles away in his, kicking some butt the whole time

Co-op, online and offline is definately not overrated. I have purchased games and not purchased games based on the sole fact that they did or didnt include some form of cooperative play. I dont see why you so opposed to it but everyone is entitled to their own opinions.
I hope Killzone 2 has co-op online so I can play with my Brother and offline because me and my wife are gamers and like to play together alot! Co-op mode should be a norm for all First PErson Shooter from now on in my opinion. My wife didn't like it that my PS3 took away some time to do stuff together but she is loving the games that have co-op so she can play with me. Now she plays the PS3 when I'm at work, thanks Sony, you made my wife into a true gamer ;)! More Co-op games please!
