Im not sure which cords im going to need pluged into the tv for 1080p , im gettling the tv in like 8 days so i need to know what to buy and what i need and dont need.

You can get a hdmi cable or a component av cable both will allow the ps3 and your tv to fully utilize 1080p

oh, and get your cable from monoprice.com so you don't get raped on a bad deal (paying $100 instead of $7)

wait so ill just need an hdmi cable and the power cable , coming from my ps3 for full advantage

The component cable depends on the TV, some TV's don't accept 1080p through component.

yes connect the hdmi cable to the tv than the other end of the cable to the ps3, than switch the resolution settings in your ps3 system.
