Lots of games are anticipated. Why don't you wait until it's released before asking this question? But honestly, any game has the potential to be the "best game ever" depending on peoples tastes. Some people think MGS4 is, personally I hated it.
No. It looks fantastic, no doubt, but it's really just more of the same. If any game will be the best on the console it will likely be by Guerrilla, Naughty Dog, Insomniac or Sucker Punch.
Not for me. I'm not a fan of God of War, whatsoever. MGS4 and Valkyria Chronicles will still share that thrown, long after I've forgotten about God of War 3. :P
Whether God of War 3 is going to be the best ever for PS3 mostly depends on people's opinions. Some may hate it, while others claim it is the best.
Personally, I've set my standards high for this game, judging on other games of the series. I won't be satisfied if it is simply a clone of the second or first game, only with more enemies and moves. I hope that it will bring something new to the PS3.

lol first it was Heavenly Sword then Uncharted then MGS4 then Resistance 2 then Killzone 2 then Resident evil 5 then InFamous xD LOL great games just keep coming so no we cant say what is the BEST game..its a matter of opinions..but in MY opinion..from all these games ive played...Demon's Souls was the best one in my opinion

I think it has potential to be the best game around. God Of War 1 and 2 are both in my top 3 favorite games of all time, GOW 3 probably won't be an exception.
All comments containd herein are biased and tastes no about if the games the best ever.I oo think mgs4 rocks ps3,but someone here will definitly say it dont,but thats taste and opinion,so you get one after I played and its released!
i am suprised at the mgs4 love, its a good game for fans of the metal gear, but as a game itself i think it could of been better, particlularly the boss battles. Although i really enjoyed it for the story/cinematic experience and the mech fight.
As for god of war 3, well so far it looks like the usual god of war gameplay, not that there is anything wrong with that, but the lack of originality in that department instantly removes it from nomination of "Game of the generation:ps3" award. The level design involving the titans could put it back on the map, but i doubt its even nomination worthy.
God of War 3 will be a great game but I think Assassins Creed II will be better personally.Kira5127
really the gameplay at e3 seemed like the usual borefest to me honestly, i am being sincere in my curiosity here, what made you think that assasins creed 2 will be good, and what did you think of the first game?

i thought the first assassins creed was a alright game. it wasrepetitive with the missions that i will admit. the E3 preview showed new weapons and ways to kill and the guards are now smarter. i think it will be a close call between the two.
