if u were to buy a japanese ps3, you could play US ps3 games and japanese ps2 games. however you could not play US PS2 games So my euro ps3 can play US PS3 games?
Hello, As many people said...Yes!! But in case you wanted to know we can not play IMPORTED Japanese PS1 + PS2 titles on the ps3. I tried it with SUPER ROBOT WARS (HUGE FAN) and nothing but a blank screen. Later
As mentioned you can play any PS3 game on any PS3 but be aware that you may have issues with online play.. the games look for the servers they were created for ie a U.S copy of resistance will look for a U.S server to play the PS3 itself will only connect to the servers it is setup for ie UK PS3 will look and connect to a Euro server so you will get conflicts and can't play on line unless there is a worldwide server but that is up to devs to setup, Resistance is getting one somtime in may so that is one game that would work anywhere online but with other games you would be best checking first.. of course it doesn't matter for single player offline games such as Oblivion.
