Hey all. I just recently received my first credit card, and since Playstation doesnt have a "PSN Card" card yet, I've decided maybe to use my credit card to buy PSN games like Pain and Calling all Cars. Well, I'm pretty paranoid about using stuff online like that, and hearing before that some XBox Live accounts have been hacked, with people's credit card numbers on there being taken, I want to be more safe than sorry.

Anyway, does anybody recommend me do this? Is it pretty safe? Do you have to register the credit card every time you get on the PSN, or is it permanetly attatched to your account?

Sorry for so many questions, but I appreciate the help, lol.

Surely it's much safer than its unnamed rival.

You've gotta setup your account first.

It's safe as far as I know, seeing as I've used it since launch.

It's safe, but if you wanna sleep better at night you can alwaysdelete your credit card details when you're done with a purchase.

Dude if somebody really wanted to get your information they can get it. Even if you dont use your credit card, but if you go onto non secure websites than your chances are extremely higher.

I've been using a credit card for a while and I've got no problems yet. If you want to be extra safe you can set it to ask for your password everytime you want to use it.
