I havn't played my PSP in a few months but I got to get one of these. Which one should I get?

well i got both crisis core & god of war, i didnt finish none of them yet, just recently got them.. their both excellent games, but i would suggest you get crisis core or just both if you could lol
It's really hard to choose one since they both are very different and great titles as well. I'm going to have to say Crisis Core because it is longer than GoW but not necessarily better. GoW is great while the ride lasts. (about 4 hours) You will get a lot more game out of CC than GoW for $40 IMO.
i thought I saw DMC PSP on capcom jp page last month for a psp release after Monster Hunter. GT guy said after GT5 finish he may release it. Also there is this site that is all reliable named FAMITSU taht never messes up when it comes to release dates for games. DMC is scheduled TBA just like Dissidia and Birth by Sleep. On Famitsu GranTurismo is scheduled for undecided. 60% chance of DMC comin out. Rejoice!BlazevoirProblem is GT5 is a year from release according to ps blog so that puts gt even further back. any word on elder scrolls travels?
Both are fantastic games, however they are two different game genres. If you want RPG, Crisis Core is the best PSP offers right now, for Action/Adventure - God of War is superb.
I suggest you get both. 8)
What about for those who don't really care for FF7 like myself. Will I enjoy Crisis Core because of it's updated visuals and different style gameplay? I went with GOW instead for now but it's definitely shorter than Crisis Core.gokuofheaven
I can answer that question quite well. Crisis Core is first and foremost a Role Playing Game. Even if you don't know anything about Final Fantasy VII (), Crisis Core is a fantastic JRPG that no fan of the genre should miss.
You know what really impresses me to no end in Crisis Core? The Menu. The calm and well done background music that never gets boring to listen to. The menu has that Sci-Fi feel and vibe to it that just give a game phenomenal fresh and new feel. The DMW - Digital Mind Wave.
I'm a huge Turned-Based fan, A.K.A FFVII :) But, the innovative DMW combat wheel is very, very addictive once you get use to it. I'd love to see this kind of leveling system to be used in more RPG's. It's truly well done.
You don't have to know Final Fantasy, even though the enjoyment of those who do will be in new heights of excitement.
Final Fantasy: Crisis Core is absolutely amazing Role Playing game for anyone who enjoys RPG's. :)
Well i got CC and its a great game but i was dissappointed by the combat system. You cant control your limit breaks, they happen randomly during combat which i find to be completely lame, you dont know when your going to level up because that to is random, you cant skip the limit breaks you can only skip summons which are also random. So basically youll be fighting an enemy and all of the sudden the combat will stop so you can possibly have a summon or limit break. But i dont need a limit break on an enemy that will die with two swipes. Also the game is rather on the easy side. Play it on hard.
The game does have a great story and great dialouge which has kept me interested. id give CC an 8.5, i havent played GOW but ive seen it in action and it looks awesome. CC doesnt even feel like FF besides the story. There are tons of side missions which is good for on the go play. I havent played that much of the game but ive played enough to realize how everything works, the graphics look good to and the cinematics do as well. Also there arent any random battles, battles are triggered when you walk into a certain area which i think is kinda lame as well .

I appreciate the helpful response. I am a fan of FF8 and 12 so the ones like me don't get much love when it comes to "being interested in FF7." I will go ahead and purchase Crisis Core today thanks to your response.
Both are the best!
You should get both, Both God of war and Crisis Core should run you 39.99 new, and should be 34.99 used at Gamestop. They are not cheap, but the are great games to have in your library. I have both, and I'm not rich, but I know what is good.

Devil May Cry on the portable would be insane. However, I'd be sceptical for a successful translation to the PSP. They would most probably do what they did with God of War: Chains of Olympus, make a great appetizer. I mean, how much can they really put into a handheld version of the real thing. Everything is toned down, limited, or just non-existant. You like to see variety in a videogame, especially if your on the road or something. I would still look forward to D.M.C. for the PSP. However, I'd sooner get excited for a time consuming RPG like Disgea: Afternoon of Darkness.
I bought Crisis Core and I just recently got the God of War demo. From what I've played God of War is much more fun, but really it all comes down to taste. Im sure most people here know which game they would rather play.
If your looking for fun, go with God of War.
If your looking for an intruiging story or if your just a Final Fantasy fan boy, go with Crisis Core.
