I really cannot decide which, since Im on a budget kind of right now. I need to save some money for GTA4 and GT: Prologue.

I havent really beaten FF7, if that means anything.

Ive beaten GoW1, and for some reason I cant beat GoW2 because it keeps freezing on my PS3.

I have enjoyed both games a lot. There are different types of game style so it is what best suits your needs. Crisis Core i find has a great story line and it is the first FF game i have ever played and i understood it quite well. GoW is a great game also, it is more into killing people. I loved both games and i recommend you get them both when you can.

FF7 CC is a fun game it also has a great story but some time it will take 15 to 30 minutes is a boss battle.

Well, I would say to get GoW to tide you over until you can get FF7 CC. While I found both games extremely fun, GoW just had so much more replay value that I decided to keep it after beating it, rather than letting a friend borrow it.

But really, it's your money, and you should spend it how you want.

Good lord man, I don't think I spent more than 3 to 4 min on any battle. Just stick to the missions before you embark on any story quests. Once you get good at "dodge roll"/"slash", you can beat anything pretty easy.

I would suggest GoW, if you haven't beat FF7, you might not get what you want out of CC.

Ick. I don't get what people see in FF7:CC. Everything people seem to like about it -- the battle system, the story, the items/customization, and to some extent the graphics -- doesn't impress me at all. I played about six hours and took it out of my PSP...I'm probably going to sell it. I would definitely advise you to NOT get that game, though apparently, if you're a fan of modern FF games, it'll feed your monkey.

COO is the only GOW game I've played, and even though I hated the quick-time events it was still a very fun experience. And it schools FF7:CC in every department I mentioned. The only problem with that game (aside from the quick time events, of course!) is the length. I can't say whether it's worth $40 for every person because it's only five or six hours -- tops.

GoW and CC seem to be the biggest names out there for PSP right now. and it really comes down to what style of games you prefer, and while I've never played GoW (tho it looks interesting and I'd like to get my hands on it) I can say that CC is by far one of the best games Ive played, CGI graphics are just beautiful, and the story is an absolute masterpiece for the FF7 compilation. With over 140 hours of play, I have yet to bore of this game (even after multiple play throughs). So I say you can't go wrong with Crisis Core (but like I said I know nothing of GoW, i just hear its an excellent game yet short).
