its sonys problem, its there console.
So what drop support for EA, like we really need another roster update, and Activision yeah... i want hannah montana guitar hero soon.
That's not the case. Let's face it both produce quality games and Sony would lose a lot of support if they lost EA. You wouldn't believe how popular yearly updates to games like Fifa are. Not to mention the big guns such as Dead Space.its sonys problem, its there console.

Cross game voice chat is probably one of the most useless features ever. Is it really that hard to pick up the phone and call someone?

Yeah right because people are going to pay long distance charges to call someone across the world...and even if you're talking about friends what an annoyance that would be to use your house phone whiles gaming and on top of that if you wanna use your cell you'd waste your minutes...so clearly the logic of using your phone is complete stupidity. Cross Game chat is good for several reasons, it makes PSN more social, u can know what your friends are doing and where they are, you can organize groups and parties and join same games (especially since PSN doesn't have unified invite system) and also talk to your friends even if you're in a different game without having to pause and send messages every 20 seconds... I don't think it's useless and hopefully Sony impliments it soon because it's one feature that makes Sony's system lag behind XBL.
Well thats you. I find it much easier to talk to people while we can do other things and not be in the same game all the time. Also unless you have a USB keyboard (Which I dont) Sending messages all the time is annoying.Cross game chat is not needed at all. I get by fine with messages.

Cross game chat is amazing, and those 360 gamers will agree with me.
I hope one of these days PS3 gets it and maybe even improves upon it.

I don't even have a 360 and I agree. People without it apparently haven't used it and know how convenient it is. It makes me think of people that still send letters through the mail instead of using email. Snail mail can get the job done, but it's just SO much more convenient to email.
