Got this game on Thursday, of course psn was down so I playing the campaign. It took me quite sometime to beat, I wish every game campaign was as long has C2.

I thought it was a blast. I had never played crysis before and I was expecting just eye candy but the campaign had some terrific moments. Sure the characters were about as fleshed out as butter on toast and the dialogue was awful but there were some cool set pieces and fit well into the whol alien invasion thing. I would have liked a LOT more variety in alien though. I got sick of looking at them after a while
Single player was ok but multi player was garbage worst than black ops.metal_zombie
Pretty much, except single player was better than just "ok". It was really solid and blows away most every other shooter on PS3 (Resistance 2, Medal of Honor, Call of Duty XYZ, etc. The only FPS campaigns I would compare personally are Killsone 2/3, and Bioshock. Level designs and environment were freiking awesome in Crysis, as were the tactical options. The only issues were some technical ones, i.e.. some pop-ins, and WAY to many AI glitching out and walking into walls. The AI was a real shame.
Game was a bit TOO easy on 2nd playthrough as well. 1st playthrough was decent enough difficulty for "default". But on supersoldier it was a breeze because on the 2nd playthrough you had more suit powers. The suit powers made the game a little TOO easy IMO.

I liked MGS4 heavy rain KZ3 more but i liked crysis 2. I noticed that the AI would wierd stuff sometimes i thought it was just me.I was actually really disappointed, it didn't live up to the first game. The campaign just seemed so bland, story was no good. It turned into a "go here, kill this go further and kill that" kind of game. Very disappointed. Multiplayer although fun sometimes, it still kinda sucked and the lag is unbearable.

GarZ--
It was quite good and just kept getting better. It definitely does require two playthroughs to get into the story as it was confusing. The game is that much better though when you truly understand what's going on. Excellent FPS.
Great FPS campaign. I'm tired of all the 5 hour long linear FPSs (cough Killzone 3. COD. Medal of Honor cough)
I thought the sp was great too. Like my first time playing Halo:CE or Half Life 2 good. The change of pace was really refreshing. My only problem was the aiming took a while for me to get used to. It just felt really awkward or loose. 2nd was the glitches. There weren't just a lot of them for me, but they were some of the wierdest glitches I've seen like constantly decreasing ammo supplies.
Imo, a little extra polish would have gone a long way. Looking past the flaws, I thought it was great but I can understand why some people aren't asbig on it as I am.
I agree the campaign was impressive for an FPS this gen, 3 times as long as KZ3, and hell I had more fun with C2's multiplayer than KZ3 as well.
