I'm only going to get one of these, I really need a new game for my PS3 since I've recently bought it and most are on the 360. I've never played Killzone before but I access to the first Killzon If I want to try to get into the series. I've also never played the first Crysis seeing as I don't have a good PC. Fortunatley it looks amazing on consoles. Homefront looks decent and has an interesting story plus there's a Best Buy Exclusive Pre-Order deal where if you preorder online you get a free mic that looks pretty solid.

I want to hear some of your thoughts on these up and coming releases.

BONUS QUESTION: Is it still worth it to buy MAG?

I'd probaly go for killzone 3. but if you're looking for a good story try a different one, and killzone 2 is awesome.

Killzone 3 will have the better Multiplayer out of those and Crysis 2 will probably have the better Single player. And yes Mag is still worth i just got it last week and i have no problems finding a match.

I would go with Crysis 2 or Killzone 3. Homefront just looks awful IMO.

I will look at Crysis 2 once its released, might get it if it isnt too linear, from what I have heard (which could very well be wrong) its basically a corridor shooter. I want it to be somewhat open.

Killzone 3, eh I played the beta, it was solid but I wont buy it right away, it can wait.

Homefront looks good though, I've been following it since sometime before E3 last year. It appeals to me most out of all these games since its a new IP and I can get in on the ground floor. I can never play Killzone or Crysis because I lack the systems. I like to own all the games in a series, or at least play all of them.

BONUS: I got my PS3 not too long ago, and my first game was MAG. I like it, its pretty decent. It still has an alright community and finding a game doesnt take too long at most times of the day. Its fun but its got a bit of a learning curve to it. If you're patient then its a pretty good buy IMO.

Killzone 3 will be the best of of them all but Home Front looks very fun as well. Crysis II's MP looks a bit strange IMO.

Crysis 2 for Single player gameplay. Killzone 3 for multiplayer. Homefront for story (maybe anyway, it sounds like it might have a good story...) And yes, MAG is still worth buying. I bought it a couple of weeks ago and have no trouble finding games or holding my own in a match. Just don't expect to be kicking everybody's butt.

you just got a ps3 so get your first exclusive and jump head first into the sony waddling pool. thq makes some of the best games if not the best games in america. crisis looks like some ea hype; but i do so love some of the hyped ea titles(dragon age 2 anyone?mass effect was awesome, and dragon age origins was good).i think ill eventually get homefront but ill have to wait on when ill get it; plus ive never played a fps with the thq feel to their games, so its a title ill get sooner than later. in truth i see homefront being the better of the three.

I'd get crysis 2. the first crysis was simply amazing and you would be doing yourself an insult not buying the sequel.

I agree with you, I played the first one and it was one of my best gaming experiences. And also the multiplayer looks pretty solid. I'll pick it up for PS3 as soon as it comes to Brazil.

Either killzone 3 or crysis 2. But it's hard to choose between the two, it may be killzone 3.

I'm going with the safest online option. Get KZ3 as it will be well supported and should run smooth on release, Homefront is an unknown effort and i have mixed feelings from the footage i've seen and Crysis is going to be looked after better on 360 so i'm not risking that one.

Also i've played KZ 2 and the 3 Beta and it's excellent (have not played either of the others)

Killzone 3. I've already preordered it. Crysis 2 and HF seem "meh". KZ3 is something I can see myself playing for a while. It and MvC3

Killzone 3 will be a solid game for sure, can't go wrong with that.

Crysis 2 is shaping up nicely with breathtaking visuals.

Homefront looks like a decent rental.

crysis 2 mate...trust me on that one.. if the first one is anything to go by it blows kz3 out of the water....but most comments you got here are actually true the multiplayer for killzone is reliable but it has one annoying issue with the stupid spawn traps(that was in kz2 aswell). sotry wise/single player you have got to go with crysis especially as the majority of reviews have said kz has a poor single player story...you need to weigh up what you want more a single player experience or multiplayer?..with crysis online is the only thing im not sure about. but the footage looks sweet but reviewers said it seemed average from the beta.

Speaking from absolutely no experience with any of these games or their predecessors, I would go Killzone 3.If you're a 360 owner, I suggest buying the other 2 on 360, rather than PS3 (online component is often better on 360, more headsets, larger player base, though things have been evening out as of late). If you just mean getting on of those games, I personally am going for Crysis 2, if only for the hype.

In reference to MAG... I don't believe $30 is worth it. Maybe if you get it with a headset for $65 (that's how I got it). I'm an avid Halo Reach player and playing MAG felt like a massive downgrade. I think I was looking for COD on a large scale, but, the graphics aren't as good as COD, the gameplay isn't as good as COD and the sense of being in a larger conflict is non-existant. This is of course my personal opinion. It's not a bad game, in fact I quite enjoyed it. It just can't be compared with AAA titles with awesome multiplayer. Truth be told, theBattlefield 1943 demowas more fun for me, to compare it to a game built with the same audience in mind. Read some reviews perhaps before making a final decision.
