fraid not mate. It may show an appearance as a rather, how to put it, cut down version, in a similar fashion to Far Cry Instincts. but like far cry, the likely hood of it being even NEARLY as good is slim to non.
F.E.A.R was relatively poor on the consoles to be fair lol. so we can only hope that if Crytek take the work to consoles it wont be so damn bad ^^
Crysis is PC only... However Crytek (The Devs.) are working on a PS3 and 360 (I think) title. Not Crysis but oh well. Should be fun. Hopefully a 3'rd person shooter instead. I am sick of FPS's.
Nope. the PS3 doesn't have enough RAM. I remember reading it in an interview here on GS. They'd have to drastically change all of the levels into a linear experience which IMO would suck.
You can play Crysis on the PS3 when the update comes out by Q4 of 2007. The update is that by using Linux, we can play PC games on the PS3. (This is done by streaming)

and also i saw another interview yesterday (but i cant find the link) that said if crysis does will with both gamers and critics then they will put it on ps3 and 360
Tell you the3 truth, as much as I want to play Crysis and I support the PS3, I dont think the PS3 could even handle the game unless it was ultimatley cut down.

that's not exactly true because crytek said they are working on implimenting the crytek engine to work with cell. in THEORY(yes that evil word) it could work with cell doing all the work and not needing the super duper ram, but it would take some smart devs to do it. (killzone 2 isnt super linear because of this)

no way in hell crysis will run in its current form on any console, trust me, and im not dissing the ps3, i own one, its just fact that if an sli setup of dual 8800GTX with a quad core and 4GB of ram struggles with the game, the ps3 wont even run it.
An extremely dumbed down version of crysis on console? sure.
im running it on very high dx10 vista on a single 8800gtx, OCed dual core 3.6 and 4GB of ddr2 ram, i dont get perfect fps but its very playable. its not that bad actually, and the game is gorgeous.
