But he did sit on the tail of a fire beast and wait until he noticed, despite the fact that his coat was on fire. He also allows himself to be stabbed through the torso in practically every game and doesn't even care. DMC4 Dante is one of the most powerful characters in gaming. I don't even think Kratos could best him. When he's stabbed through the torso, he dies. Not Dante. Although to be fair, I haven't played God of War 3 yet... only the first 2 and Chains of Olympus. but still. Out of these 3 choices though, DMC4 Dante.

Of course DMC4 Dante would destroy all the other Dantes' and Kratos and Bayonetta and pretty much any Hack & Slash character. Why? Because he can kick anyone's ass and smirk about it the whole time. Unlike Mr. Baldylocks who has family problems, managed to solve it, only to get pwn'd by a girl. And I won't be the one to say Bayonetta can kick Dante's butt, just because she is a female. Nope. ;)

Dude the Dante from DMC 1-4 kick ass The DMC5 Dante is emo... his moves deosnt look like Dante have it in him even though he suppose to the the young DAnte from DMC.... yeah DMC5 Dante sucks... Ninja Theory knows how to write good stories but they dont know how to make good gameplays... just see Enslave... I can't even finish the demo...

I don't mind the new Dante look, but DMC4 Dante would kick his ass just because he's older and much buffer than the scrawny DMC5 Dante. And Dante from Dante's Inferno would get owned by both of them because Dante's Inferno was little more than a cheap GoW knockoff.bluem00se
