Dante's Inferno vs. God of War 3

Dante's was by far, a better game

more challenging, better story overall.

i own and love both
the only thing hard about dante is the 8th circle with all thosedumbchallenges
after playing both on normal they are around the same

I haven't played God of War 3 yet, but I can imagine it being a better game than Dante's Inferno. Probably more polished and not as rushed. Dante's Inferno was actually pretty good though, so I enjoyed it.

Just by the topic of this thread I knew TC would chose Dante. (knowing that GOW3 is far better)

You people probably know that Dates was inspired buy the God Of War games. Now I have only played it once at my uncles, but it is not even close to the sweetness of God Of War.

But, They did try there best to live up to it, and I think they did a good job at that. However, GOW is better.

if you think that the dantes infernos story is better than God of War 3 then clearly you havent played the first 2, and if you have then you should be locked up in a padded room... GOW3 is superior in every way, no doubt about itTony2519

GOW3 is better in almost every consevable way.

The only thing Dante does better is ranged attacks.

Dante's cross beats the ***** out of the generic bow Kratos has been stuck with since GOW1.

I thought Dante's was fun. I've played through it 2 times on the PS3 and 2 times on the other system, and will probably play it again in the future.

I'm not saying it was better than GoW3, I'm just saying it's a good game on it's own.

There's enough room on my shelf for both games.

I like the premise of Dante's Inferno better, but everything else is clearly won by God of War 3. I like the theological story of DI, and being an atheist, I enjoy any game that would make a nun faint :P

indeed Dante's was a rip from GOW.... but I think it was executed very well.

All and all, no... there isn't a comparison when it comes to graphics. There shouldn't be though, GOW was in developement for how long?

call it rushed or whatever you want, Dante's was not a bad game by any means.

Imo, GOW3's story became rather dull after awhile, and that's coming from someone who loves Greek Mythology and the first 2 games.

The greatest thing about GOW3 was Aphroditie's chamber

When I first played Dante's Inferno, I was like ...WTF?...GOW clone?
But I like DI more...

If the DI team had as much time as the GOW team did, then everybody would be saying they're the exact same. I LOVED the first two games, but DI brought a new feel to the gameplay. Not to mention that most GOW players didn't use any weapon besides the blades...

it was obvious that you yourself was gonna choose dante,

but i think you only own xbox360 and you dont even have a ps3,imo.

why dont you guys just try PS3 then write things like this in forums,

i dont mean to b rude,but i think this is absoultly uncomparable,

GOW is the best action game you can find on PS3,forget dante,GOD OF WAR 3 sells consoles
