Dark sector or Uncharted?

witch do you think is better,i want a new game and i have been wanting uncharted since i played the demo,but i played the dark sector demo and i yhink its good so witch do you think is the best buy?

Never played Dark Sector but Uncharted is highly recommended and shoud not be missed out on.

Uncharted, most defiantly.

Uncharted, Dark Sector is clucky, has a lame story and just feels plain lame.

Uncharted on the other hand is extremely action packed, has the best cover system and action scenes (this is coming from a guy who actually has Gears) and though its short, its amazing.

I agree with the Uncharted part, but the defiantly? What are you being defiant about? Your opinion seems to agree with the overwhelming consensus in here... that's pretty much the opposite of defiant! Or did you mean definitely? ;)

I agree, Uncharted is a great game, and though not that long in length, it is greatly made up for in depth anf replayablility.

if it weren't for uncharteds amazing presentation, dark sector would get my vote. I honostly enjoyed dark sector alot more dispite its lame narrative...ninjaxams

Agreed. I thought Uncharted was given too much credit and Dark Sector wasn't given enough.

Both are fantastic rentals. Both offer fantastic, but SHORT campaigns (8 hours for Drake, less than 10 for Sector - Sector's MP is negligible). They offer mild replay value... I could see myself playing through each every once and a while maybe if i was super bored, but they are very short. Hence why I say they're fantastic rentals, but only buy them if you've got money to spare. Dark Sector is very original and like a more fun (but slightly clunkier) Gears. Uncharted is like Tomb Raider and Indiana Jones had a baby, in a good way. Love them both, neither is worth the $60 price tag unless the PS3 is your only console imo. I prefer Dark Sector to Uncharted, though.

Dark Sector has way to many issues with it that just straight gets on your nerves (guns disappear while your blasting away WTF!). Uncharted was a pretty damn good game especially towards the end (lol wow that was a bad-ass twist) of the game. Overall i would get Uncharted hands down; theirs also a lot of replay value out of it. Get to use the guns you earn (unlike Dark Sector) when you start a new game and continue to look for treasure on a harder difficulty setting with lots of other unlockables. I really injoyed the game, plus the graphics and story are just amazing. Hope that helped :)

I agree with this. While Uncharted had better graphics, story and overall presentation I had more fun playing Dark Sector. The combat seemed more intense and the glaive is an awesome weapon to play around with.

Dark sector was pretty cool. All the way up to teh point to where I was going backwards threw the same vary tiny levels. then it got old quick. You know where you go back at night threw with the museum. Its so one lined it unreal. the whole game "much like Army or Two" Is like walking down a thin road. Thats kinda the feeling you get. Besides that thow, it does everything vary dramatic. And the combat is cool. But than again so does Uncharted, and Uncharted is a tad bit more open. And was one of the best games last year. Only thing I can say bad about uncharted was the demo stunk.

And it was not so much even the levels. Im not sure what it was. Dark sector had a great idea, and a great charter and weapons. But it kinda felt like last gen Ninja Gaiden level wise. Hard to explain. Army of two did the exact same thing. You get this odd feeling like your almost in a side scroller thats 3D. it feels that tight. I mean the post below says same. But I never swang around or anything in DS. And more so than liner, it just felt stale. Uncharted "more so the underground, under the library" Was way more wide, and fresh. Plus you interacted with the stuff alot more.
