I agree with the inclusion of Batman: Arkham City. Considering how great Arkham Asylum was it might be strong contender. Mass Effect 3 is another one that shouldn't doubted for a second.
2. Im personally hoping for Dark Souls but doubt itll get Gamespot Goty...Ill be picking up all of the games listed as well as many others that have been said but Im personally looking forward to Dark Souls so thatll most likely get my vote
Hm, i'm 85% sure that Skyrim will win provided that it's not a BUG FEST like other Bethesda games.

Let hope so, but Bethesda can't afford to mess this one up. TES is their flagship series and beloved by many. :P Personally I think Skyrim will destroy everything else. :D Only real contender it'll face is Mass Effect 3 imo.
You missed out on the big one which comes out far sooner than all of these - inFAMOUS 2. That game is a 9.5 without a doubt and definitely an extremely good GOTY contender.

They should put all their effort into this game. Bethesda messed up New Vegas and if they don't make up for this one i guess it'll cause a significant downfall for Bethesda. But, overall i am expecting a lot in this game. Let's just hope this game turns out well.
Dark Souls is not a sequel, it's the spiritual successor. New game, new world, same general idea, but not related to Demon's Souls' story. Regardless, it will be better than the rest of these.

This lol...i said sequel last night because it was late and i just couldnt think of the words spiritual succesor to describe it...but this is a more accurate statement
It's just harmless speculation. Also considering that most of these titleshad successful sequels I don't think it's not without merit (especially in the case ofUncharted, Dark Souls, and Mass Effect 3) everyone has their favorite and I think they really dohave a shot. It's exciting!:)
*Edit: Dark Souls is NOT a sequel more like a successor so my mistake. Still has chance to do well in the GOTY voting.
even though elder scrolls is popular series... i think we have seen too much of the game.. its been around for a while. looking forward to dark souls cause its not a sequel to Demon souls.. even though the game looks like it takes place in the same world

All we have to judge from are scattered bits of info and a few trailers. How can we decide? Although Dark Souls is ruled out from my personal GoTY list by default, because I hate Demons Souls. The others look good though, from what I've seen.

From that list, Uncharted 3 will no doubt be the winner. Now out of that list, its way too tough to say sicne there are some other contenders from the other sides ( Zelda being one of them).
I'm going to say it'll be between Deus Ex and Skyrim, as they seem to be the most refreshing/original games of the year. I hope it goes to Deus Ex simply because it's one of the greatest games I've ever played.

Bethesda didnt make new vegas, they hired a separate team to make it, they made fall out 3, not vegas.
