Actually, yes. I owned this game awhile back and I kind of regret trading it in. I'm not going to buy it again but I think it's worth it. The one thing that I didn't like about this game was the speed. You walk really slow in the game (I don't remember a sprint button) and sometimes you have to walk all over the place just to get to a firefight, and then it repeats again. But the presentation is really good.

Yep. I don't see why people hated Lair. The controls are responsive and the missions are fun. Dynasty Warriors 6 is the best in the series.

The Darkness has awesome controls, I recommend getting it - especially for 20 bucks. There are a lot of fun things in this game.
definitely pick it up man, kept me busy for a long time. awesome graphics, voice acting, and overall gameplay (which can be pretty intense at times). ;)
yes! for sure! i bought it for 35 on Ebay beacause i think 60$ is to much for any game, but if you can get The Darkness for 20 then jump on it. oh and it gets way better after the first level after The Darkness manfests on Jackie Estacado's 21st birthday. if you're still not sure then gamespot search "The Darkness ps3" and click it, and click "read the review". but i'm telling you it's a good game. i wrote a review of it myself, and if you go into the player reviews you should see me there. besides the game has a human heart eating mechanic. what's not to love? anyways, see yas, peace out.
the darkness is trash. i can' believe the guys who made riddick put this out. great presentation, piss poor gameplay. for $20 though, you might as well i guess...

I saw the darkness at Walmart for 20 bucks also, and ive got to say was well worth it. The presentation of this game is amazing and the amount of effort the developers put into the mood of the game, just really pulls you in. Great story and really stands out from your average bland shooter where you blow up everything in sight and tada the world is saved. Plus i like the whole mob/evil spirits thing and the comments by the darkness are very cool and the loading screen commentary by jackie about the story makes you actually look forward to changing zones....overall great game wouldve paid 60 bucks and still been happy.
i never played it, but i watched my brother play it last summer on the 360 and it looked pretty cool to me. he has been telling me i should play it and maybe i will, but i have a crapload of other games i gotta finish first.
