you should really just decide on your own. i own both games and both of them i have their merits. i will say though, Oblivion will last you a lot longer than the Darkness as far as replay value.tgschmidt
i know i should decide on my own i was just asking what do u think of the games
I only have enough money for one game and they both look equally fantastic. I haven't had success with either genre game in the past so i was just wondering which game i should get with my moneyCoolGuy6654
I have been playing Oblivion sence the day it came out on PS3 and still have not finished it. There is way more hours of game play on it. I say buy Oblivion and rent The Darkness.
if u want a fast paced game wit online get the darkness.
if u like going on long quests and leveling up and are planing on spending alot of time on the game then get oblivion.
i would go wit the darkness, u might wanna get Rainbowsix vegas or NGS
im buying all 3 of them next week

Yeah...but I heard Darkness online play leaves a lot to be desired so I wouldnt use that as a deciding factor. Like you said Rainbow 6 might be the best bet.
i have both of them and they're great games but ive played a total of like ten hours of the darkness and over 300 hoursof oblivion. get oblivion its the best game ever in my opinion.
See, I am in the same position as the TC. But I was leaning toward The Darkness because IMO, Oblivion is *too* long. If I want a never-ending quest/item grind that lasts virtually forever, I'll play WoW. IMO Oblivion just drags on a bit too long. If it had online, It would hands down be the best game ever. but just sitting there for 10~ hours.. by yourself? that is almost sad. heh.0rin
The main quest in oblivion isn't long...seriously.
