my gf bought me COD4 yesterday for my bday,,,, not knowing my housemate already has it for 360. So Im gonna take it back to EB, and I can get a game of my choice:

(I already own R&C and Fifa 08)

I cant decide whether to get Uncharted or Lego Star Wars,,, i know most people endorse the hell out of Uncharted, but when I buy a game, i like to get value,, I really liked the demo, but I just know that after I beat Uncharted I cant really see myself playing it again. Lego Star Wars looks really fun, and considering its 2 games combined, I think it will probably last me a lot longer than Uncharted (plus i can play it on offline and online Co-Op). The demo for Ninja Gaiden was pretty awesome, but thats a game id rather wait until its under $35 to get. DMC 4 was fun, but felt really repetitive

I have no interest in Resistance, U3 or any other generic FPS as COD4 is good enough. My last option would be to just use the money to preorder MSG4 or GTA4

I really cant decide, and I figure most posters on this forum could help me out. I want to be convinced that getting Uncharted would be a good value-for-money experience lol

haha she honestly just went to EB and asked what most popular game was, so its no big deal

Uncharted is quite the experience but Lego Star Wars is a whole crap load worth of play time. Pretty challenging too. Lots of unlockables.

Don't misunderstand, Uncharted is fantastic, I loved every second of it and it's easily 100x better than Lego Star Wars. Lego Star Wars is just lots and lots of quantity. Uncharted is loads of quality. Marvel Ultimate Alliance is in the same vein of quantity as Lego Star Wars.

Well, Uncharted is really praised around pretty much everywhere, and I can't say the same about Lego SW.

It's a short game but it has a good replay value.

Uncharted is quite good........but as soon as i beat it i traded it in for oblivion, because although a great game to play through and beat i just really didnt want to play through it again.

I've played Uncharted for over 30 hour so it has a lot of replay value. It's the only game that I've played and beat in every difficulty setting cause its that fun.

It depends: Are you the type of gamer who things that a game must be long to be considered good? If so (and there's nothing wrong with that philosophy), then get LEGO Star Wars.

However, Uncharted is a great game. It's freaking beautiful to look at, the game play is tons of fun, the acting is top notch. It's just not the longest game in the world

Uncharted all the way, I don't know about you but I could replay this game a lot, Lego Star Wars is pretty sweet too though, lots of stuff to do and lots of gameplay but i don't think I'd replay it

LEGO Star Wars rules. Judging from the demo, Uncharted doesn't really appeal to me, but a LOT of people think it's the best PS3 game, so my advice is to follow your own judgement.

Uncharted is a really good game. If you don't want to search for all of the hidden treasures, it's not all that long. Probably 10-15 hours. Lego Star Wars has a lot more levels, co-op, and will you last you quite a while. It probably has better replay value too. If you're looking just solely at the number of hours, go with Lego Star Wars. If you just want the best game, go with Uncharted.

I own and have beaten Uncharted, and the game lives up to the hype.

I can't say whether or not you'll play it a second go round once you have beaten it, but I will tell you that even if you only go through it once, the gameplay is worth the experience. Great visuals, fun game play. It's like playing out a movie. I haven't really paid any attention to Lego Star Wars, so I can't give you any advice on it.
