Don't know about DCUO, but I have a feeling there might be an MMORPG for the PSP2. If it really does have good online, throw in the fact that Japan loves MMO-like games like Monster Hunter, an MMO sounds like a good idea. Something like this would definitely give Sony a HUGE edge. I've never played an MMORPG before, but if it can happen on the PSP2, I'd give it a go.
It's strange that there hasn't been any MMOs on the PSP already. It's very much capable of it, but no developer has actually come out and made one. Some might say a portable platform is less than ideal for MMOs, but I'd say if you have WiFi, it's even more well-suited than a console.GranpireActually, I'm pretty sure Phantasy Star Portable 2 is considered an MMO.

Phantasy Star Portable 2 genre is a Action RPG not MMORPG.
It could also give the PSP2 an edge of the 3DS.batmanreborn96
I think you are entirely overestimating the significance of DCUO.

[QUOTE="blacknight06"] Actually, I'm pretty sure Phantasy Star Portable 2 is considered an MMO.GranpireIsn't it more of an open lobby where you find people to join you, where you then play through battles with those people alongside you? I'm talking about a pure MMO, where players walk around and see other players always. But now I realize why. Hackers :P Well I'm not much of an MMO player, so I wouldn't know if it's 'true' to the typical MMO style of gaming. So as a n0ob, I would would still technically consider this an MMO in comparison to the few games that I've played. Perhaps not so much on the 'massive' aspect of it, but on the MO part.
And, yes, I agree. I've yet to see an online game without hackers :x
