I know Dead Rising got higher scores but to me it looks awfully repetitive. I don't think either games are that great but if I had to choose I'd go with Lost Planet.

I've played and beaten LP and I think it suxs majorly (besides the mechs) DR would be much better on the ps3 I think because it has more power then the 360 but only time will tell.
yeah capcom confirmed today that Lost Planet is coming to the ps3. However they did not mention Dead Rising. I would prefer that game over LP any day.whodeysay85

Im looking forward to trying lost planet for sure. I beat dead rising on my buddies 360 when it came out and it was way to repetitive and anything with a timer just gets frusturating. Id rather get lost planet now and dead rising 2 (if it ever comes out at all) on the ps3 when the kinks get worked out
I had both on my 360 before I sold it and I really liked Dead Rising more. I beat Lost Planet and didn't touch it again but Dead Rising kept me coming back to try and save everyone.
But I wouldn't mind having them both and give LP another try with all the updateds and extras.
Both weren't great games IMO, but I did like Lost Planet more than Dead Rising, not for the story though obviously, I don't really care too much for either of them.
I have Dead Rising for the 360, but if they released it for the PS3, I'd still buy it. That game is so amazing. One of the best gaming experinces I've ever had. Lost Planet blows, who cares about Lost Planet.
Right now Dead Rising. With all the awesome shooters coming up I doubt Lost Planet can survive. If it came earlier when we were dry of games it may have the hit it was on 360
i dont have a opinion but i like to see more fantasy tittles on the ps3 so i think lost planet is still ok, but it would have made the ps3 awsome is if lost planet was ps3 exclusive
Why is dead rising any good? I just don't understand why you guys think some games are fun sometimes..... Anyway, why would the PS3 want either once all the great games come out? If Capcom really wanted to impress us, they would have released these games in May, when the PS3 didn't have anything to walk on. I'm betting they would have sold pretty well. Now, they are both lower tier games launching with all the hyped PS3 exclusive from the beginning games. So no, I wouldn't tinkle on either one of them next year.
I love zombie games and when i first saw dead rising and how many zombies were on the screen and what weapons u culd kill them with i wet myself. Maybe the sequeal though :)

As a 360 owner I think Dead Rising is much better. LP has online but that is nothing compaired all the other great online games. DR is much better and on the 360 board when asked what game people want a sequel of then DR always wins. It's a good game, graphics aren't good but it's fun. It will last you a while but when your done then your done.

It was very repetitive. I had it before I traded in my 360 and, though it was fun at the beginning, I just couldn't get through the whole game. I got bored pretty close to the beginning actually. Now maybe if they made a GTA style zombie shooter where you're in an infected city and have to join up with roaming bands of non-infected people (like gangs in GTA) without a timer for the sequel, I might like it.

That sounds like a much better game. Just because you can kill zombies doesn't make the game good IMO.
