Ya, I think that was pretty expected though. A game with high reveiws like that generally become a series. Dead Space is a great game and I'll look forward to the next instalment .
Great first game , hope for more of the same in the second . Especially the way the first ended , you had to know ea was going cash in on this . Just hope they dont mess it up .

i kind got bord with the game, ya it was cool an all but just not scary at all and the story was weak*even tho i want to see the movie* and lol the only part in the hole dam game that made me jump was the last 2 seconds of the game,
who will be in the dead space 2? isaac clarke ? and how we know that nicole is dead or alive? the ending was scary and is it imagine by the marker or a real necromorph?

that's good! i like Dead space... hope the sequel gets much better... this is one of the few good things that EA has done nowadays...hope they'll bounce back this year...
This is good news. I played through Dead Space three times to earn a platinum trophy. Seems like it could develop into a promising franchise, by the time Dead Space 2 comes out I should be ready for another go at it.

Maybe, maybe not.... people still love Resident Evil, and are looking forward to RE5. And most people still love Final Fantasy, thirteen FF's later, I'm glad that the previous twelve FF's were not truly the Final Fantasy.
Thank god. Dead Space came out of nowhere, hope they promote it more. One of the few games I played back to back. Fantastic game, innovative weapons.btaylor2404
Great, they already have my money for that one, i haven't finish the first one... I play too much NHL09 :/
But we kindda knew they we're going to release a second and third one...
Now someone needs to make Heavenly Sword 2... they are missing the opportunity for a great franchise.. i could even see a movie! (Man! they made Tomb Raider movies... cmon!!!)
I didn't see Dead space coming at all. I saw some videos months ago, but I really didn't expect such a good horror game. This is the game I was expecting Resident evil 4 would look like. Great action, great graphics and extremely scary, this last point totally lacking from RE4. After the disappointment of SH5 Dead Space really gave me new hope in the horror genre.
