So i want a game that i can play for a long time.. I'm getting tired of Call of Duty, and i've finished all the good games I have so I looked up Mass effect 2 and dead space 2, they both look like such good games with really good graphics. I want a game that i can play for a while and Mass effect apparently has good reply value and each time you'll play for 100+ hours, but dead space 2 has good multiplayer :P

I'd honestly go for ME2. Very fun and action-packed game. As for DS2's multiplayer, I hear its mediocre at best. I never heard that it had good MP. And I don't know anyone that clocked 100+ hours on a single ME2 playthrough. I'm around 2/3 of the way done on my 1st playthrough (only 1 person left to recruit as well, very few side missions done though) and I'm sitting at around 15 hours.

Well. depends.

Would you get the limited edition of DS2? Do you have a Move stick in the first place? The extra game DS:Extraction with it's Move support is a wonderful bonus, it's a lot of fun and was longer than I expected. DS2 itself is spectacular, but I wouldn't honestly recommend it if you haven't played the first game. The story is tied, in a million ways, to the original. Good part: you can probably get DS1 for like 20 bucks.

I would say get ME2 as it has a very cool intro interactive comic that sets things up so you don't miss the vital story points from the first. I played the original on the 360 so I couldn't transfer my decisions so this was a great way to keep my story going. It's an amazing game with a great cast of characters that you will genuinely care about.

Either way both games a wonderful games. I bought both and LBP2 over the last two weeks and it's been the best gaming month in a long time for me :P

Mass Effect 2 is the best game out of those by far (imo, but its definitely amazing).

However, you won't get 100 hours out of it unless you want to do 3 or 4 playthroughs. I just beat the game today including all major side missions and loyalty missions and I clocked in at a total of 53 hours. However, a lot of that time was also spent playing the DLC levels and exploring/buying armour and upgrades

Overall I'd still recommendME2 though... it's my favourite game of this generation by far and an experience that should not be missed.

They're both good, but I prefer DS2, it's really improved over the first, ME2 will probably give you the most bang for your buck though. You're good if you go with either to be honest, they're both great.

Doing my insanity run of ME2 now. First playthrough clocked about 33 hours with %100 completion.

You should probably get Mass Effect 2 first. Get them both sometime. The first can last you longer.

Having played the first Mass Effect on the 360 , I started the second in the ps3 on insanity mode , I did everything that can be done , clocked 49 hours. When I finished I thought 'Hey what if I was an infiltrator' and bam i did one and it`s a completely different style , go for it if you want a longer game.Plus it's become my favorite game ever , while mass efect 1 is a runner up , that's how awesome it is.

If you get hooked on Demon's Souls, then the game will never get boring. Trust me.
