Dead Space!

I have to say, this is easily one of the best survival horror games I have ever played. Actually, its one of the best games I have ever played period. I am currently at Chapter 7, and I had to just take a step back to marvel at such an accomplishment. Kudos to EA for one of your few good games (ba dum tush). Though it does remind me heavily of Resident Evil 4 at times, and it can sometimes feel just a tad repetitive, it is still a game I can hardly stand putting down, and yet fear picking up. Now, I have to admit that I decided to use the Obsidian suit. Many people say its cheating, but to me, I just had to. The inventory space, and the money required for upgrading your normal suit was something I was happy to pass on, but as a compromise, I turned away from all of the other cheat codes, for things like money and power nodes. Also, I plan to do a subsequent playthrough not using the Obsidian suit and going for the One Gun trophy. Great game, can't wait for Dead Space 2.

Plus its one of the easiest to get yahself a shiny platinum trophy too :D

But yeah, gr8 game non the less, not really as scary as the majority tryed to put across, but still has a very unerving atmosphere and still a few jump moments, but not quite the type of jumps that lead to a nasty accident :P

Not really, there all just uber-powered versions of the same stuff, oh n they come ina variety of colours!! :D...O.o lol hurrah, seriously there only for say if u really happen to be stuck on maybe completing impossible mode, or unless u want to randomly waste some dosh.

I made the right decision of getting this game! it's one of the best of 2008. i actually doubted it at first coz i didn't like space themes (except for StarWars) and aliens... glad i got it! damn alien monsters, especially those who gets behind your back!

I didn't really like the demo when I played it. I'm not much of a fan of 3rd person shooters or survival-horror games, so it didn't appeal to me at all. I will say though if it reduces in price, I'd consider giving it another look because of the cutting of limbs. Still, it's too scary for me, haha.yokofox33

One of the best game this Gen for sure... I think it's the best new franchise... maybe beside Gears of Wars...

Great game. I also liked Dark Sector too. Both under-appreciated games.fend_oblivion
