Dead Space Items help

Hey Guys i just started playing dead space and I am currently on chapter 4 on hard. I am going through the database in chapters 1, 2, and 3 I have found everything in chapter 3 but there are holes in 1 and 2 i was wondering it was possible to get these items or logs or wutever they are without restarting the game?? because they are in a previous chapter? Thx

I myself haven't completed dead space yet and I am at an early stage. I suggest that you do not play on hard difficulty because the game actually gets much harder from that point on. You are able to explore the Ishimura at your own will but it will be a pretty hard task to trail back your steps to where the first and second chapters took place. I also suggest that you just carry on and just leave it.

Ah but i needed them all for the trophie

Oh right you need the trophy. In that case then you should just complete the game one time through and then collect all the logs in your second playthrough. You are bound to play through the game a second time because of bonuses and extras.

you dont need 100% of the logs for that trophy. just pick all the ones up that you find and you should get it in one playthrough. dont go out of your way for that one

Just grab what you can on your first play through... For a extrachallenge try getting one gun on the hardest setting...
