Dead Space!! Ohh Man!

I can't believe i've had Dead Space sitting in my drawer for well over a year now. Never once have I even put it in my PS3. I've alyways wanted to play it but ended up putting it down for some other game. After beating White Knight Chronicles earlier today, I decided to finally play this game. I just have to say wow. This game is awsome. The atmosphere, the characters and limb dismemberment. It's so satisfying to kill those ugly creepy aliens. I'm only one chapter 3 but so far this game is amazing. Still can't believe I never played this game.

I was supposed to play it but heck i really don't know why I had such a great game sitting in the drawer for that long? I'm sure it's happened to some other people out there.:)

Actually I was kind of hesitant also cuz I always get creeped out by horror games....back in the early days of Resident Evil and Silent Hill.

it is a amazing game. One of the best this gens, it has awsome atmosphere, wicked graphics and sweet guns. also the Horror elements are very good. You must continue to play it!

I'm definately gonna keep playing this game. Thought i'm trying to take my time and make it last. Kind of hard to do, so hard to put it down.

Plus I think i read somewhere that they already have the sequel in the works?

I really like this game but i can only get motivated to play a chapter at a time i go like weeks between chapters but i still really like the game and i'm only on chapter 5

Think it was like 37 or something like that on amazon when i purchased it.

One of the best games this gen IMO. Better late than never TC.

I have 5 PS3 games that I haven't played yet... and I think 4 I have only played once. I have a LOT of video games though :P and Dead Space is quite amazing.

I love that game, way underrated in my books. 9/10

I agree. It's a fantastic game and its thrills never spoil. I've beaten it 3 times and still have that 4th playthrough to get my platinum. I'm stoked for Dead Space 2.Chaos_Bladez

lol Believe it or not I have that game too, it's on the shelf in it's original wrapping. I bought it during this past summer, but never opened it because I was too busy with other games. I should really play it though because I want to see what's up with all the buzz around this game.

Epic fail.......Dead Space is a great game

Deadspace is fantastic, and it ownly gets better later in the game. i'm in the same boat with RE5. I started it when i first bought it, but for some reason it's been just sitting in my drawer basically un-played. i will get around to it eventually, but for now i'm all about Demon's Souls. Demon's Souls is probably my favorite game on the PS3 so far. it's just so good, and i've ownly put in about 18 hours so far.

Shame on you TC....letting one of the best games this-gen sit in your drawer that long.:|...I wonder if it took you that long to play MGS4??? :PJK

Lol nope I played MGS4 right off the bat. I beat then for some stupid reason I traded it in to Gamestop. Then I felt really guilty a few months later and ended up purchasing it again from amazon. :)

game is only $19 now for a NEW copy. anyone who hasn't played it should go buy it...

I was actually sort of in the same boat as you. I think I got it on the Christmas of 2008, but I got several other games then too and Dead Space was the very last one I played just because I didn't feel like it. It's a really good game :) I'm pumped for the second.

I only played it recently too. I've been putting it down as well as Bioshock and Fallout 3 ever since they came out, always putting another game before them.But recently a friend of mine came to my house and we played it and I couldn't let itoff my hands. I bought it soon after and got the platinum 5 days later. I know what you mean, it's greatness couldn't be seen in it's videos on youtube, you have to play it to truly know how good it is. Now I'm waiting forBioshock to arrive, hope I feel the same about it.
