Dealing with scratches screen

Is there some way I can remove the scratch marks on my PSP screen? In terms of buffing or will I have to purchase a new screen?

The scratches are small and they are not noticable while watching movies are playing games, but I love my Darth Vador PSP. I want it to look brand new.

It would be nice if you can add the price tag to any solution.

I have seen this done with a I Pod.

A small amount of Brasso & lint cloth - wipe into screen carefully until scratch has disappeared - then utilise a screen protector.
