Demo of Devil May Cry 4 for the 360 due out b4 the PS3???wtf

What is this crap its coming out as a demo for the 360 before the Ps3 ????Wtf wasn't it build from the ground up on the ps3 and then being ported to the 360???

We get Lost Planet ported over. They get the demo first. Capcom see's it as a trade.Vyse_Legends

The Wii gets MH3 exclusively.

We get a half-a$#ed port of Lost Planet that looks last gen.

I'm seriously starting to hate Capcom just as much as I hate EA's and Ubisoft's ports to the PS3(excluding GRAW2 and R6V).

the ps3 has less then half so it takes less priority also it takes longer to develop for the PS3

From a neautral point of view if u owned CAPCOM and u had to develop exclusively for one console what would u choose ?

Hey I'm just calling it as I see it, I never did say anything about the other consoles, just that the support for the PS3 from not that great.

Personally I think it depends on what game is being developed. Each system has its own demographic, its own audience. Games that go on PS3 won't always appeal to people on the other consoles and vice versa. That is my honest opinion.

I am probably also looking through my own personal lens as I really like the Japanese games as opposed to more western games, I'll play both. Right now it may seem kind of similar but there will probably be a polarization happening and my money is in 2008 since many Japanese games will be coming out then.

Technically, its almost a sure thing any 360 players own or owned a PS2. They can't all be people who've only owned Microsoft consoles. But you are right that the need for a PS3 demo is less since we are all very likely to buy it as long as it doesn't suck and pull a DMC2.mbrockway

I seriously doubt it will suck. The story seems more developed than before. And the gameplay is now improved, though developers said it wont be far from DMC3. But they did said that now you will be able to have 2 styles (thats awesome) and that combat will be faster too.

DMC 2 as far as gameplay was acceptable, but the story had little to do with the game series itself. That was due to the fact that it was not a DMC game and when they changed it to that it was over 50% done.

And there is no proof of this, except from the TC words which alas has a private profile meaning his account is for flaming most likely.

Not to mention that developers said they were not planning a demo for the game, you can check for the info regarding it in the RE 3 movie BD edition news in many movie sites.

Well it has DMC 1; DMC 2 and DMC 3 SE. DMC 1 and 3 are really good, imo 3 is the best due to its exelent combat system and how cocky Dante is. But 1 follows close to it and 2 is the last one.

Its a pretty good action series. 1 is awesome. 2 was apparently too gun biased. 3 was hard as heck, but the special edition comes with easy mode so you don't get dropped into Japanese hard mode on "normal."

Yes it was up ealier as news in n4g.com.......the demo is out at the end of dec in Japan......Which is ridiculous considering Sony and Nintendo dominate Japan....

its proberly somthing to do with the issues with PS3 development problems, i read that DMC had some very noticable framrate issues on the PS3 so their proberly trying to iron them out

I detract what I said aout the TC, sorry man.

I checked many sites, and most of the spanish sites have full translations of the thing. Both consoles will have a demo. Though there is no date yet for the PS3. It also says that 360 is going to arrive earlier since all the footage up to today was running on the PS3, meaning that the demos we see are from PS3 consoles, and they wanted to show their progress in the 360.

Capcom said there was no rush for the PS3 demo since their install base already know the game, thing thats similar to what I said. Anyway, the thing is that there is no date for the PS3 demo while there is for the 360.

Still don't understand why the kiosk demo (that has been out for a long time now) isn't out on the PSN store.

I played that demo on the 10th of November last year and was dissapointed to not see it (or anything ELSE for that matter) on the PSN the next day when I bought my PS3. But to be honest, the demo was kinda crap. The graphics were not very good at all (jaggy as HELL) and it didn't play the best which is probably why we never got the demo.

I plan on getting the PS3 version, I hope the reports about framrate issues etc are false, I don't want to have to buy the 360 version because of yet another crap PS3 version. I also think the decision by Capcom of America to port Lost Planet is a joke. Seriously, who the hell wants to buy a game that is over a year old, and a shoddy port at that? Hell I got the game on Japanese release day last year and barely played it.
