I know the "big" games wouldn't do this, but don't you think to be fair on us gamers spending our money that every game should have a 30 - 60 min playable demo, to see how it plays ? ( and in the demo u keep what you have done if you get the game )

I watch video's , read pre views of games, but everyone's opinion is different.

I do usually pre order, but because I have been burnt in the past, I think I may stop and wait for reviews.

Are you referring to being burnt by watch dog? If you are then yes we need demos but the way the industry is today it's not going to happen in fear of losing customers. I love the fact that a AAA game like UFC is doing it and if it's a great demo then I may buy it. I don't see the point in preoders anymore because we dont get anything for it most of the times. Read my review for watch dogs. I bought a used copy instead of picking up my preorder since I didn't feel comfortable wasting my money.

@ewalthour: Watchdogs is one, while I'm finding ok , I'm not mad about it, I think the hype does not do any favours for the game.

Last of us was the last game I pre ordered and I loved it, every chance I got I wanted to play it, unlike WD.

I preorder my games at bestbuy. 10 dollar rewards to use on my next game plus 20% off. Mario kart 8 also included an extra 10 dollar gas card. So I get my new games for around 40 bucks.

I'm in the same boat as AutoPilotOn. I pre-order through Best Buy because of the $10 store credit you receive every time. If it wasn't for that I'm not sure I would. I too have been burnt a few times and have never had an issue finding the game in stock on release day once the reviews are out. Don't really see the need to pre-order. I've never seen an in game incentive that really made pre-ordering worth it.

The $10 from best buy is awesome, basically the only reason I preorder anymore. I would like demos before hand though, I think it would draw in as many customers as it would scare away. Plus if you have faith that your game is good a demo shouldn't ruin it. People will wait to hear about a game, and if its crappy it will lose just as many customers as it would with a demo.
