Demon Souls: How far have you gotten in this game

I picked up this game and it is one of the most frustrating games I have ever witnessed. It is also one of the most rewarding. However it is also a game that I can only really play one level at a time since my ability to suffer can only last about that long.

In turn, it will probably be a very long time before I can actually beat this game. Let alone beat it 3 times and get the platinum trophy.

I'm curious where all you stand.

i beat it once but i got stuck in newgame+ so i started a completely new game and i am just about to beat it again. i dont ever plan on trying to get platinum that would take entirely way too long.

I got the Plat. I played through it 3 or 4 times.

Well I got to my third ng+ but my character got deleted when my ps3 died :(.

Theres no option for me :cry:.

I played this game to death. I started out just playing the campaign offline because I had an irrational fear of black phantoms. Then I got a friend hooked on DS and we started playing online. It was like a whole new experience. I loved blue phantoming and I began to look forward to black phantom invasions. I then started black phantoming for awhile. That was a whole new experience too. It was crazy how many people set up ambushes for BPs and how many people disconnected -- it kept things interesting. I even tried red phantoming for awhile. This game is made to be played for hours and hours.With all the hours I put into this game you better believe that I plat'd it.

It's one of those games that are worth getting the platinum just for fun and you know what? i've got it! took like freaking 2 months, though.

I beat it twice already and im working on my third.

I haven't even beat it once yet. I'm sort of taking a hiatus for the time being to play other games because this one is rather time consuming and I'd be at it for awhile.

I Haven't beat it once yet. I love the game but getting to a boss, dieing then going back to the start of the level is a thing I can only do so often. Still trying though.

my advise to you sir: stop sucking:D. seriously though, what boss are you stuck on? maybe I Could give you a few pointers?

i about NG+ done, but i am taking a small break to play a few other games in my collection. i'll get back to it eventually.

Beat the game 3 times, I need to farm some marrowstone and stuff before getting the platinum.

Haven't gotten past the first level..krazy-blazer

Played the game for 8 hours straight once I got it. Kept dying and retrying, etc on the first level. Realized the game was whack and returned the next day ;) *casts Flame Shield*

Just defeated 2-1 Armor Spider.

Just taking it slow.

Beat it fairly easily, and will work on my plat progressively, but not right now. My next Demon's Souls run through will be the NG+, in which I'll work towards the plat.

Oh dear, I hope he isn't taking on the REK in 1-1. Do not attempt him in the beginning. And I wouldn't call a REK a commoner mob, they're one of the most challenging mobs in the game.

I got past Leechmonger then got bored of the game. I didn't really give up, I just got bored of having to play the same levels over and over again to get easy souls for upgrading stuff. I played it about 55 hours. Great game, but I just got bored of having to what needed to be done in order to succeed.

I got the platinum, and sometimes I like playing it as a blue phantom to pwn some black phantoms at 1-4.

finished it 4 times, i never play a game again just for trophies. if a game is good enough and gives you incentivesto play through again like harder difficulties and keeping your equipment like DS and MGS4 then i will play it multiple time

I have beaten it once and will eventually get around to the platinum.

Ive beaten about 5 bosses so far. The last one was the big thing with the tongue that whips you. At the minute im not really stuck on a boss, its more about getting to a boss. Any general gameplay tips would help to be honest. :)

Demon Souls is one of the most interesting games that I have ever played, but it is also the hardest game that I have ever played and that is why I think that I have given up on it. I really wish that there were a difficulty setting because I really would like to play this game.

I beat the Phalanx. Then my PS3 died :P. I can't wait to beat it!

I stopped after beating perhaps a couple bosses. I think the last boss I beat was either the Armored Spider or that fire boss. The game is hardcore, and well, I'm just not a hardcore person.

I'm around 6 levels in. I got stuck/bored so I haven't gone back to it yet.

100H + NG+++ AND PLATINUM ;);););)

I'm at world 1-4 now. Reached the boss twice, was pretty easily handled by him (but not killed...thanks Evacuation) both times. I haven't touched the game in over 2 weeks, though. Got distracted by Monster Hunter Tri and picking up Red Dead Redemption this Tuesday. Maybe I'll try again this weekend. Great game, but I don't plan on going for Platinum. To much time spent farming for rocks/stones/ores. I'd rather spend that time playing other games.

i beat this game an absurd amount of times, something like 30 times over all my different characters. and no i don't have the platinum, missing the magic trophy even though i have all the demon's souls to get it lol..

You have to admit this game is hard.

I have played this game between 10 - 15 hours just to finally give up because how hard it was as I always made it to a certain spot in 2 of the game worlds/levels and I kept on dying. So I may give it another try, and I hope I don't go crazy afterwards like I did before.

My highest character is soul level 120. Finished it but never got the platinum, maybe someday.

Does anyone play it anymore? I decided to try it out again and I do not see any blood stains or any messages or any ghostly images of other players.ghstbstr

Be glad you don't see that one every 10 steps... Im sure that people are playing though. Did you quit the game and go back in? Sometimes my friends would not find messages or players until he restarted his game.

Beaten it 7 and a half times and got the platinum :)
