demons souls length

hey everyone

if i am a decent gamer that is not very good quick at RPG'S

so i have a question

how long would it take for me to complete it (i would like to be occupied with this one)

Demon's Souls can be as short as 3-4 hours but that is essentially a speed run and you wont be able to take in all the awesome content in the game, plus you need to be extremely extremely good to do the speed run. And the game can be as long as 30-40 hours, one thing is certain though, no gamer should go without trying Demon's Souls. It's GS 2009 GOTY for a reason you know.

I tried it but didn't like because of the difficulty and i have no one to play with. and i also don't like games like Monster Hunter

and Demon's Souls have the MH feel.

My first playthrough easily hit about 35 hours or so. A LOT of dying, a lot of trial and error. A lot of fun also a lot of aggravation!

Im at about 50 hours right now on my first play though, but I could have finished in about 30. I'd say between 20-40 is about right 1st playthrough.

No shame in admitting the game is too difficult, there were moments when I too couldn't handle it but Ive come know that the more you play and absorb yourself into the world the easier it gets.

I don't see the resembles between the two games but I see where you're coming from, it's just that Demon's Souls has that medieval Euro theme of Knights and such, which I love btw.

I put 150ish hours getting the platinum but you can beat the game on your first try maybe in 20 hours? I speed runned the whole game in one sit in. *Note I'm maxed out in everything.Fightingfan

I've got about 22 or 23 hours in and I'm about halfway through world 3 (I've played them in order, you don't have to, though.) and I suck at RPGs. It's a pretty tough game, I like to think of it as an homage to old NES and Atari games. You know, the whole die and start the level over thing, lol. It's definitely a must play, though. I think any true gamer should at least give it a shot.

I just hope I beat it by the time Dark Souls comes out...
