Get pure black tendency. Go to 4-3 and backtrack from there until u get to a red dual skele and walk up behind him and use soulsuck. 60k souls in about 3 mins. Also a chance at getting pure sharps. Havent played for a while but thats what i used to do. Ended up with more souls than i needed

That's the one I used the most, and even when I didn't have a decent bow, I would just drop down and slash him with the meat cleaver a couple of times, then I'd run down to my death and repeat.
Another excellent one is to get pure black tendency and in the place where you defeat that same level's last boss you can kill all the flying monsters for something close to 30,000 souls using the same sword you used to defeat the boss.
also im having trouble with playing because my world tendency is pure black in every stage just wondering how i could get it back to whit easily.

Connect your PS3 online . The servers will adapt the tendencies to the average worldwide tendency . Otherwise, defeat a boss or black phantom NPC(less easy of course)
You can do the soul glitch with the two accounts activating each other blood stains, it doubles your souls each time, it'll kind of ruin the challenge of game though if you go overboard.
