I defeated the 1-1 boss and now I have no idea what I should be doing. I got to the 1-2 boss but had no idea how to defeat him and am currently in what I beleive to be 2-1 (burrower king?) and just roaming around amelessly. By the way I am a soldier if that makes any difference and my soul level is no higher than 15 I beleive.

Keep going and beat 2-1 or go back and beat 1-2. The 2-1 boss is probably easier.

Bosses are always a learning experience. You'll probably have to attempt them a couple of times before getting to grips with how to beat them (except for phalanx in 1-1 of course, who is a pushover)

I'd also go for the 2-1 boss. Try to get your hands on a bow and learn the Soul Arrow spell too.

1-2 knight is really easy, run circles around him and when he kneels down after his attack, slash his ankles. Green mist will eventually spill out, once both ankles has 3 spurts each of green mist he will fall over (make sure you are not behind him). Once he is on the ground slash at his head with heavey attacks. Repeat 2-3 times and he's done. After that go to 1-3 and get the bow, kill the dragon from the first tower. Now that the dragon is dead go to 1-1 and collect the purple flame shield since the flying dragon is now dead :)!!

Deafeating the tower knight was really easy for me. take out the guys on the walls and use a spell like soul arrow. so if ur a soilder im not sure where to get soul arrow, he didnt even hit me when i used it. this of course was after like 20 failing attempts on slashing his feet. The 2-1 boss is easy with soul arrow as well i just stood along the left wall and his attacks couldnt hit me!

^You have to kill an Archdemon to get to 1-3- as TC is still new to the game that's probably not happening.

I'd suggest going for the Compound Long Bow in 4-1 if you want a bow.

The 2-1 boss is easy, just run up to him with your shield up and it should stop the flame attacks. Now just keep slashing at him when your next to him. His flame attacks are basically useless that close.

I just stood behind a pillar and spammed arrows at him. After 50 or so arrows he died. He only took away about 1/3 my health and I didn't use a single health item the whole match. This is also a way to kill him for people with low strength.

It'll work regardless of whether you're a soldier, knight, or any other class. I did it as a knight and the soldier and knight have similar stats.

I would move on to 2-1. 2-1 is all about the switches (or wheels). Or are you simply missing the door (on teh right behind debris) in the room with the first fat Official (the flame throwing fat guy). Use the wheels to open shortcuts and some to move-on. Plus beating all of 2 is the easiest way to go as your first Arch Demon. Though you do have to get past Flame-lurker, the 2-2 boss. Don't be afraid to Summon some friends, there are always some blue signs hanging around outside of the Flamelurker arena.

is this the spider boss?

First time I fought him I saw some other person playing and they were standing off to the side firing off arrows at him. Low and behold I tried it out and got him down to 1/4th of his health before I had to go melee (ran out of arrows)

Yes, the spider boss. This happens to me a lot so always have around 600 arrows with me.

1-2 boss is actually really simple. just run upstairs and kill all the crossbow dudes first

then slice tower knight in the heels until he falls down then go to town on his head. just get used to how he smashes the ground with his feet and shield so you know when to run away

i'd suggest avoiding going further and sticking it out and beating 1-2 because the boss of 2-2 can be insanely difficult (he was for me anyway, i had to level for a while before i could use the purple flame shield thats kind of a must for beating him with a melee character)

The 3-1 boss is pretty easy. The only enemies you have to worry about are the mindflayers (the mages with the bells).

For the Spider Boss in 2-1 you'll want to run up to him as fast as you can and keep your shield out. He'll do some weak melee attacks up close and then collapse (be sure to stay lined up with his mouth, when he collapses his sides can hurt you) and slash at his head. He collapses about two times and then starts to breathe in fire. When he starts breathing in run all the way back to the entrance of the tunnel and hide in a corner. Right when he stops rush him again ... rinse and repeat! For the Tower Knight in 1-2 you need to kill all the archers up on the walls. The Knight can throw his lance, which does a ton of damage, so be sure to use the statues on the railings of the stair cases as cover. Once they're all dead you go down and try to stay behind him and slash his feet. Only take two or three swipes before getting read to roll back or back step, because he does an AOE ground smash. If you get low on HP you can run up the stairs and take cover behind the parts of the railing that stick up and heal. Or you can be a weenie and take advantage of poor level design and use hundreds of arrows to kill them. If you fight Flamelurker in 2-2 then make sure you summon a friend. Melee damage does little against him (and it actually damages you) unless you use Sticky White Stuff on your weapon. If you get Soul Arrow you can beat him with a friendly blue soul (if you summoned one) easily. Just remember to ROLL BACKWARDS! Do not roll sideways because his AOE can still get you. I play a Wanderer which is a melee class also, we just specialize in rolling more-so than Knights and Soldiers (unless you remove some of your armor or have certain rings).

3-1 is a pretty easy level too. Just sneak attack the octopus-head men from behind (the Thief's Ring helps a lot). Before you fight the boss though you need to kill the weak enemy that resurrects the boss. You might want to find a guide for that part because I can't explain very well where he is hiding. Basically on this level you have to be careful of the octopus-head mages, the giant blob with a bunch of arms (you should use arrows and take cover when it attacks using its ranged attack), and the black soul that attacks you on the big staircase leading up to the boss.

If you go to 1-2, summon some help if you can. Usually you'll get a player that is far stronger than you and can help you a lot!
