huh? hell no! make it harder!!! the game is too easy after the 1st boss.
and making open world like oblvion would ruin the diablo vibe....

it really is easier after the 1st boss. Because then you are able level using the blind maiden and acess to all of the different areas, such as stoneforge to upgrade your weapons. Also you can grind the reaper at shrine of the storms like a 20 times.....level....and then beat the remainder of the game like no bodies business.
The game is fine the way it is! DONT change it, the style of art, the gameplay and difficulty are what makes it different!
Today videogames are full of generic crap oozing out of dev's buttholes, its SO refeshing to see a game like Demon Souls sticking it to the mainstream.
The difficulty of demon souls is fine! It just relies on something that almost no other games these days rely on.... Players Skill ;)
My only problem is the lack of a pause feature. Real life has a way of intruding, like a knock at the door when you are in the middle of a fight in a tough area, which happened to me.I was not pleased.Other than that, the game is simply fantastic.
I love how challenging DS is. I always go to the highest level of difficulty when I play a game anyway. Not cause I think I have l33t 5kill5, it's cause it makes the title last longer. Sure I screamed like whats his face locked in the Latvia Towers when I die wiith a ton of souls.
If I wanted to play an Oblivion-esque game I'd play Oblivion or Fallout. Demon's Souls fills a different kind of void than Oblivion, and I don't want it to change in the slightest. The difficulty is actually a welcome; it's a throwback to older RPGs I think. Demon's Souls is by far one of the best RPGs that I've ever played, and one of the best games period that I've ever played.
1 One pure stone of every type can be found/geckoed. (I am looking at you you bladestone)
2 More competition between miracles and magic. To many miracles were devoted to Co-op. Heck you even got 2 high level magic teachers. Miracles need to be buffed in essence.
