Destiny 2 on PS4 or PC?! I need help with decision

My brother In Law is a cool dude but he only plays PS4 atm and I play PC but im debating if I should even buy a PS4 and sub just to play with him. I have a sick PC atm so its like ahhh! lol If you can convince or let me know why ps4 would be a better choice that would be awesome!

@sxss: I'll just say this 1 thing, playing Destiny by yourself sucks and is impossible to do raids and stuff.

You need friends, be it on PC or PS4.

@GTR12: exactly... Play this game with friends or not at all. Those better visuals won't make this game more fun playing solo.

@GTR12: lol well one can make friends from a squad experience as life is to work and social gatherings. I mean you can make enemies from grievers but im sure they will add a vote kick or something for public parties idk.

The more I think about it, PS4 might be the better option, there's timed DLC, exclusive raids and other timed stuff, in a MMO, this is kind of vital. Its all timed, sure, but the XB version of Destiny still hasn't got the timed DLC, 2 years after launch, the PC version of Destiny 2 could be the same.

@GTR12: Thanks for the info and yeah lol I maybe new to this forum but im old as ever to others with various other names of course. Your right though, at first I didnt connect the dots about you mentioning XB and PC but then I felt dumb and understood the culprit "Microsoft products" lol. I hope it is different on PC in that matter. I only wanted PC for graphics and tweeking but idk lol I see my brother in law playing PS4 games like rainbowsix siege and is PS4 gets all loud when it renders graphics at the load screen. I think ill make a decision based on price for parts if the new Playstation or even the old gets a good cut of money value vs the new gpu ill change for sure.

@sxss: Yeah I see you're point, but remember you cant mod Destiny on PC, its an online game. Graphics and controls are the only things that you can consider.

Destiny 2 will be the same in terms of DLC, cos they got a deal with PS allowing exclusive/timed DLC and content.

@twineaglez: LOL legit spam is real AHAHA. I think people will mod destiny with or without consent to Microsoft tbh lol, LOOK at halo... just sayin. I also feel that is why they plan to release it late because if destiny 1 got released to PC as it did on console perhaps the game would not have gained so much fame imo of course due to the fact that it was an exclusive, thus imo forcing consensus to try it.

@sxss: Microsoft? wrong company bud, Destiny is owned by Bungie, who aren't associated with MS anymore, they are 3rd party.

Don't know about mods...look at GTA V online on PC, Rockstar were threatening to sue, you can mod the offline game all you want, but online nope, as it can provide an advantage.

You are contemplating getting a PS4/PS4 Pro ($300-$500)+ game ($60) + online subscription ($50), just to play with one person? I think the smarter thing to do would be to make friend on PC. Or just get a different game all together, Destiny 2 and other online multiplayer games are a waste of money anyway.
