I can't decide, I am sick of first person shooters and need a change up, can someone help me pick?

if ur a fan of DMC like me then youll be complety dissapointed with the story, its basically a love story nothing more, everything else is great, but the story was sooo stupid i regret buying it, if u hav a friend to play with in dynasty warriors get that, put it on hard, and go crazy
DW6 is an amazing game, definetly enhances the DW format, the storylines for the characters are of course interesting, since you are dealing with historical campaigns, the game play itself has tightened up, horse riding is fixed, so is fighting on horse back, battle mechanics have improved, each character available for the story mode def feels different, so, it's a different experience with each one, therefore adding a ton of replayability.
DMC4 was unimpressive.
I own(ed) both, (own DW6, owned but traded DMC4)
DMC4.
I had high hopes for DW6, its refined gameplay which is alot deeper doesn't start until you have mastered the Renbu system. Problem is that, DW6 took out WAY too many characters. My favourites aren't there and thats about the point of me not picking the game up.
If it makes a diffrence I like love storys and have never played a Dyansty warriors or DMC game

i hope ur a girl. i hate love storys, to me its an easy way out for when a writer cant think of a good enough story to put together. just try not to play full price for DMC4 then, i get pissed when i remember i spent 60 on dat carp

lol, i dont like you :)
If you've played Dynasty Warriors 3 you've played every Dynasty Warriors game. Get Devil May Cry 4.nht12101990
thats exactly the way i describe DW to people asking if its any good. sure its fun your first time around, hell even your second, but after a dozen games of the exact same thing. its get pretty boring.
Edit: omg 7k posts booyah!

You've clearly not played 6 if you feel it's similar to 3.

face it, almost every Dynasty Warriors game is painfully similar the every other Dynasty Warriors game.

I don't need to buy it. After having high hopes for 4 and 5 and it being exactly the same why even bother anymore?

Not a girl. Before I defend myself let me attack you. You just called a "love STORY" a substitute for a STORY, thats smart. Now for the defence Lastly, It makes characters seem more real when they display emotion, like love. Lastly, I just know your a Halo fan because anyone who doesn't like love storys, doesn't like character development...hence Halo and also it is possible for guys to enjoy emotional storys (but don't worry, we all think your super tough for not doing so).

Man, I'm starting to feel you're really biased against DMC... saying DW6 was more impressive than DMC4 was is just not right as every DW after 3 is pretty much the same, and like I told you once, DMC has changed the gameplay over the series.
I'm gonna be honest, I thought Nero was gonna be a lame Dante clone, but after playing DMC4 I have a whole different opinion about him.
TC: just go DMC4, with this one you won't regret anything.
But being honest and as you really like stories, you probably won't get as excited with the new character (Nero) because you don't know several details that make him bigger than he probably would be without that background.

No bias, I owned and enjoyed 3, but, 4 was a purchase I heavily regret, and I express so,
again, claiming DW6 is like DW3 is a heavily indicitive of unsubstanciation...
You should play it, then decide how you like it, that's the only way to go when it comes to...well...anything honestly.

LMAO i never played a halo game in my life, the last FPS game i bought was red faction that is the greatest fps i hav ever played that game has great character development. if u played the other DMC games u would know why i was dissapointed with this game, and what i meant by saying i hate love stories is that i hate it when it becomes the main focus of the story. all the DMC had love in it, it was just never the main focus.
I'm sorry but Dynasty Warrior 6 isn't anything like previous instalments, if you say otherwise it's because you haven't really played the serie.
The combos are totally reworked and doesn't work at all like they used to, each characters have unique combos. Stages have been reworked tremendously, objectives does play a big part in them and can turn the tides of battles in your favor or against you. At hardest levels, the game gets pretty though. You might not like the serie, but saying it's just a reharsh shows that you haven't looked at the game for what it is.
THough I'd suggest both games which are 2 of the best Ps3 games out so far.

Precisely! Thanks for making my point for me. The only people who'll claim 6 is anything like 3-5, hasn't played 6 or hasn't played 3-5.
