Devil May Cry PS3 HD Collection listed by retailer

If a retailer listing is any indication then Capcom's Devil May Cry series is the latest to jump on the 'HD collection' bandwagon with the 'Devil May Cry 10th Anniversary Collection'.

As you can probably guess from the moniker, the supposed release is said to be in celebration of the stylish action game's tenth birthday and will compile Devil May Cry, Devil May Cry 2 and the special edition of Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening.

The product showed up on Spanish retailer XtraLive's website but has since been removed. The retailer listed a November 30 release date for the pack in Europe with only the PlayStation 3 listed as a platform.

The series is currently undergoing a reboot, with Heavenly Sword and Enslaved developer Ninja Theory at the helm. Capcom has said it is aiming to make 'the perfect Devil May Cry' in DmC.

I would buy it day 1. I've been itching to play Devil May Cry 3 again for some time now.

I hope to God that release date is incorrect though. There are way too many games coming in November that I need to buy.

I might get it, i have all of them on ps2 even special edition (dante was a prick in that game but playing as his brother was pretty decent)

they were good games although first one was definitely the best, still need to play 4 but i might still thik about gting the collection

Except all of the games would be on one disc (unlike the PS2 collection), so if you through DMC2 into traffic you'd be throwing the whole HD collection into traffic. ;)

At least this looks like something...I don't know what Capcom was thinking...Why couldn't they pump out one more DMC game? I mean theres 5 damn RE games..katana_duo

What? There's DMC4 on current gen platforms and another "reboot" is coming (but alot of people aren't happy with the look of the so-called reboot).

I want this SOOOO badly! The only Devil May Cry game I have played is DMC 4 and it is one of the most amazing games this gen! I fell in love with the excellent mechanics and the styles ranking system. It's designed so well!

Come on Sensi DMC2 wasn't that bad!!:P Even though sometimes I feel a need to throw it out the window, but that not that often...only on days when I can't hit my heavy bag!!!:lol:

Yeah dude, you gotta get that collection it's my #1 favorite gaming franchise. The only negative thing I have to say about DMC1 is the camera but the gameplay makes up for it.DMC2...I'll skip that one but it's still worth a play through! lol DMC3(technically DMC1)...pure AWSOMENESS!!

Yeah, everyone sayys DMC 3 is the best. I watched my friend beat the last few levels of that game on Dante Must Die mode. He's the one that got me into Devil May Cry 4

Capcom laid an egg with DMC2, so they had to return to the series roots with DMC3. As I said in a previous post...DMC2 wasn't that bad, it had a few highlights but not enough to compensate for the flaws...you might be tempted to treat it like a step-child though! lol

I still remember when Prince of Persia HD and Splinter Cell HD were rumored on retail sites as well. Sweet! Can't wait for this. Just confirm it, Capcom.

Does anyone know if all these PS2 HD collections are LIMITED releases, or if they are going to be around long-term (basically replacing their PS2 counterparts)? I don't want to miss out on them, but I also want to wait for a price drop if possible.

Trophy support has been mandatory since January 2009 (except for PSone classics/PSP minis) so these games will definitely feature them.

I'm still bummed too that Devil May Cry 4 doesn't have trophies. :( Capcom should've released a patch like what Naughty Dog did with the original Uncharted.
