Why not? If WoW came to Ps3 with a buttload of new crap about 13 million ps3's would get sold in a matter of 4 hours. I'm not a big fan of RTS games, but I just got into civ4, which is phenomenal, and if diablo 3 is a major improvement, I might get it myself.

not gonna happen but im sure it is possible. diablo is alot like those baludurs gate games(which were on consoles) so it is possible but i dont see blizzard doing that.
Possible, yet unlikely. Still, I don't know why Blizzard hasn't really opened up to the idea of console games. It's a huge market, but I guess development costs and possibly quality suffer as a result of it.
It is very possible, but not likely. From a technical standpoint, Diablo is perfectly suited for consoles. As seen with Diablo in the PSX the mechanics havent changed much. Potions could be accessed as before with the shoulder buttons. You could have the skill list in the R2L2 or some sort of quick access from the D-Pad. The R3 could be used for the different options, Skills, Stats, Inventory. Pause would open the options and the face buttons would handle attack and cast. Its really easy to put it on consoles, with the only draw back being localized spells as the curses from the Necro in D2. Also, the PS3 accepts any Keyboards and Mouse so its even more possible.
Everyone you have to remember that with the PS3 you have the option to use a mouse and keyboard unlike the Xbox 360. So the more likely candidate is PS3 less need to worry about button mapping and programming.
