Nope, because how many problems have you heard about the PS3 having overheating problems?

I'd do it if I had it in an enclosed space, or on a carpet. Just cuz you don't hear about it doesn't mean it won't happen.

The PS3 doesn't have any over heating issues, becareful you don't void the warranty- attaching that to it.

My PS3 runs for days without being turned off sometimes, going from games to foldingathome to movies, and then back to games. I've never had a overheating and wouldn't recommend one of these unless you live somewhere very hot, or have your PS3 in a tight spot.

Nope. I don't keep my PS3 on the carpet. I have it off the floor so it dont over heat as fast.

My PS3 stays on 24/7 and it never even get's very warm without any kind of extra cooling system connected. The systems cooling system that's built in is the best designed cooling system on the market and that includes PC's and laptop's.

no no your right only 360 needs a fan because every game stresses it to the max XD while the same game would not break a sweat on the ps3
