Did anyone here sign the Capcom petition? C'mon, admit it

Did anyone from this site do? Even if I think the petition was retarded, still quite a lot of people signed it, like more than 7000 people.

Multi-platforming DMC 4 can ONLY be good news. I'll finally be able to play DMC games (still don't compare to NG) and it's not PS3 isn't getting DMC 4.

I did, why be ashamed? The company flat out lied without an apology to us. They said PS3 was exclusive for a whole year, and then they suddenly go "Oh it's multiplatform!" WTF? It's not the problem that they did it, but they LIED and didn't apologize. Even a business needs to respect its consumers.thedarkomen

Why do you care if it is exclusive or not? You are still going to be able to play the game.  Its not really a lie unless you are a fanboy.  I could careless that it is coming to my 360 because I never played one yet.  I wouldnt care if even Halo went to the PS3, why? well because it is still coming to the 360.  As long as I get to play it thats cool.

I really could care a less about who makes what games, what games are on what system, etc.   I just want to be able to play some kickass games.

I did.  Look at how many fantastic EA games has come out with in the last decade.  Generalizing development for 3 unique architectures does not normally yield worthwhile results.  Every console involved gets a watered down version of what the game could have been with focused attention to development on their particular architecture.emitsu97

I did too.. I did it not only because I think capcom's moral has gone down the drain but because I can and I have the freedom to... and for the people that say it was dumb or that it doesnt do anything well its like saying voting doesnt do anything and that you shouldnt.... now it may not be what you are thinking but it sounds that way..  I did it because in most countries no one has the freedom to protest or boycot something ithout getting their balls chopped off and handed to them...  so next time before you say that it doesnt matter or it wont help think of the solders that are dying so they can give you this freedom.  the least you can do it practice it....Gamefisher86

Seriously what are you talking about?  These are video games not war.  Anybody in any country can boycott to not buy something.  But not anybody can speak against the government.  If you have to work then you are not free, remember that because every dollar you think you make for yourself really is for you government.  As for free speech.  Yeah do it all you want but that doesnt mean you are going to change anybodies mind no matter how many people are behind it.  Example, Spain, 90% of the country was against the Iraq for Spain to participate and what happen they still participated.  Make you feel like your free but really its a illusion.  The house you buy and put all your money into isnt even yours because you still have to pay taxes on it every year even though its paid off.  Petition?? Get a life Capcom wants money not friends.  7500 people is a joke compared to the 11mill on the 360 they are going to sell to.

Nice example but EA is just doesnt care and knows how to take your money.  but games like the ones that come from take two and are multiplat are good on both consoles.  So it up to the company if their financial statements say it is worth making both version good.

 I signed the petition because I could. ..  honestly do you think you can goto india or Iraq and make a petition about how you think a certain company sucks or that they giped someone?  you have not been to many countries then.  I on the other hand ( not that you would care) was born in such a country and am so glad i wasnt raised their.  Even if it doesnt seem that it will help does it mean that you should give up??  NO!  You know if you had any once of dignity you would see this was done for a good cause.  not for the sake of videogames... no that point is dead but for the point that a company repeaditly says that said game would remain exclusive and that was the end of that. But all of a sudden they announce that it was going multi plat.. That means that when they were saying no it stays exclusive they were working on it for other consols... they flat out lied! we just petitioned because the lied or at least that was my reason. I honestly dont care if sony wins or microsoft wins... I just have prefrences not hatrid.. anyway that was my point if they wont change it at least they have the idea that we actually care swirling somewhere in the back of their heads.  In the End we did something...

Umm yeah that's why EA's games have gone down the tubes. EA has been pumping out the same game since the Sega days. Oh btw those of you old enough to remember the dreamcast,  did you cry when they didn't bring any games for the company that made them what they are? I'm sure you didn't say a word. All of a sudden you want to start stupid petitions because a game is going Multi plat. Serioulsy grow up children and stop using the excuse that Multi plat means "watered down" verisons of the game.

and as for devilmaycry versus ninjagaiden, DMC IS A POOR MANS NINJAGAIDEN. it is not even near the quality and craft man ship that has been put into ninjagaiden by Tomnobu Itagaki and team ninja. u guys dont know how lucky u are that you are getting a remake of ninjagaidnen on the ps3, alot of heads will turn when sigma ships.
