Shoot them both down. That's what I did. The Sorrow puppet allows you to do something with the dead, not too sure what...
Yeah I thought I could be clever too, but I guess not. I like how Mantis mentions the "hardware improvement" after trying to read a memory card.a-tek
woah, i just thought of something
what if you werent using a ds3? does he just skip the controller rumbling part? brb, reloading that part...
Lol i did it as soon as i got there, and then once Otacon said it wasn't going to work... I Panicked
I had no clue what to do until i suddenly hit one of the puppets and well i figured it would kill her
I was there for about an hour before i hit the puppet... its really easy to avoid her attacks anyway

Someone in a different thread said that Mantis says "WHAT?! NO RUMBLE?!".
Anyways, I loved how Kojima paid homage to the original MGS, especially when you return to Shadow Moses. This game is the only game IMO that actually surpassed my expectations since LoZ:OoT:)

Returning to Shadow Moses was beyond words for me...I completed the original dozens of times, and I so wanted to explore the entirety of the island. I spent a lot of time wandering around during that act, hahaha. I expected Kojima to return to Shadow Moses, and I was in awe, especially with the entire presentation of Snake's arrival. The decrepit cameras, free-roaming ravens, cleverly placed items, MGS ending theme, and the overall attention to details surrounding certain aspects of the environment that made the area once feel alive made the entire act purely emotional and nostalgic.
The Pyscho Mantis reference was humorous, and I actually thought it did something during the fight until I remembered accidently injected myself when I had it equipped. :|
Fanboy...maybe.
