Did FFXIII Live Up to Your Expectations? (No Spoilers!!)

So it's been a week or so since FFXIII has been released, and I'm sure there's some people who have completed it and some who haven't (I personally haven't yet), and am wondering what you guys think. Has this long awaited, massively hyped game lived up to your expectations? What is better? Worse?

For me, I thought it definitely exceeded them. This is honestly my first real Final Fantasy game that I've purchased and am planning on completing, so I guess I can't compare it to others, but after watching many videos, reading interviews, etc, I was super hyped for this game and it sure did make me happy. I'm not even halfway yet (only 18 or so hours in), but I'm already loving it. I'm actually really excited for FF versus XIII.

After FFVIII & FFX my expectations dropped. Realized that Square isn't going to release a 'great' FF but FFXIII is pretty awesome. I have been enjoying it since i first played it.
