Did I Miss Something ?

i bought LBP a couple days ago and i have to say its boooooooooring

i've played for roughly 2 hours in total and it doesnt seem to be getting any more interesting, now its just sitting in my room collecting dust

but yea like i said in the thread name .... am i missing something ?

I guess endless creativity and constantly moving right isn't for you.

I thought the game was somewhat boring as well. It was fun, but the story never really goes anywhere and the platforming quickly wears thin. I was also left wondering where these clever puzzles we were promised went.

Have you played with a friend yet? I got somewhat bored after beating the game but its insane how much funner the game is for each extra player. I still love playing Super Smash Brothers Melee but LBP with four friends leaves SSBM in the dust in terms of fun.

So get some friends to play it with you and not your online friends but do offline multi-player.

Haha,...more like ages 6-17. There are a lot of young kids that play GTA, Halo, Gears of War, and Call of Duty. Even young girls too. Its a sad sad sad sad world.

Some like it, some don't... we're different as individuals... maybe its not a game for you... maybe you could sell or trade it to someone else and get another game.

the story didnt go anywhere...WHAT!?!?! We defeated (NO KILLING ALLOWED) the one dude who is a little potato lookin thing and saved LBP forever!!!!!!!!! /sarcasm

I have some friend that when they see LBP they go like "WTF?" and nearly laugh at me. I don't really care, I've always enjoyed all kinds of games. I don't need to kill stuff to be entertained.

On the same note, kids I coach in basket ball have irresponsible parents... Which mother would let their 10 years old son play GTA IV, Call of Duty 4 and Fallout 3?

I love little big planet true game can get boring if your by yourself. And online mode in LBP still has alot of bugs in it but when you play with friends next to you it's alot of fun. and when they realease patch that lets you create levels with your friends MY GOD I CAN ONLY IMAGINE WHAT WILL HAPPEN!

I bought it because it won game of the year and it got really good reviews from both IGN and Gamespot so I was expecting something really good, I think I dont enjoy it as much because as alot of people were saying you need to play the multiplayer to really have fun... But its all good I bought it for 55 w tax and selling it for 45 so it would be the equivalent of renting the game for $10and then returning it

You bought it because two people gave it good reviews? You deserve what you got ..

Some people just like it more than others, I think it's an great game, but I'm not that much into it

However, try speding some time trying to make a level, it's pretty fun
