It suprised me. :O Way back when this game was first announced, I didn't really pay attention to it. Just another game I thought. But in the last couple months I started to pay attention to this game and really really liked it. I got the demo and HAD to get it. Am I the only one?
i think i'm like the only person who downloaded this demo and wasn't very excited to play the full game afterwards...the game looks beautiful but it felt "been there, done that"...im still planning to borrow the game from my boss when he's done but i just don't get all the love.
The genre (3rd person shooter action/adventure) is a very untapped market in the game industry these days. We got alot of them back in the Tomb Raider days, but not anymore. Personally, I like 3rd person more than 1st person shooters, and thought this game set a whole new standard for games like itin the future
i just beat it last night, great ending, great story i thought from the videos that the review it got here was enough but after playin it i had to say it was a 9 game at least

I think this game deserves a lot more credit IMO. I knew the game had awesome graphics, but I didn't know about the gameplay until I got the demo. The demo by the way doesn't even give you a good feeling of the whole game and the awesomeness of it. Really the details in the game are so amazing, I was just wowed all the way. The gameplay was very solid and the puzzles were pretty good. I was wowed from start to finish. I have yet to go through the game again though.

First I downloaded the Demo and HATED IT... but that TV ad with the "ladies and gentlemen" song told me that I should give a try... now along with Heavenly Sword is my favorite PS3... HeavenlySword wins because I loved the story
When I finally go around to playing the game I was underwhelmed due to all of the hype I'd seen in reviews and on this board. Great graphics, and audio, shallow generic game play. People comparing it to Gears of War must have never played Gears of War. It's a good game but I wouldn't consider it the Game of the Year, not even close.

The great gun fights do take an hour or 2 to happen. The first bit of game is exploring.
I like how the gun play vared from like a gears of war style to resident evil and then to a war hawk run and gun style. Plus he great graphics and story helped so yeah its my favorite ps3 game so far.

Best game ive played in a long time, pretty much everything is pure fun on that game, i honestly havent found one major flaw, like he said "masterpiece".

Im literally just after finishing the game and I got the demo a while back and must say that i wasnt that impressed with the demo , but now that I have completed the game.WOW , what a brilliant game is all that I can say.
I have to say that the game played better than I thought it would. However it was too easy (yes I know there's different difficulty settings but the middle/normal level should always be a bit of a challenge) and way way way too short. I have to be honest I'm getting sick of short games. I'm not a massive fan of on line but when a game is this short they should always have an on line game to go with it!!
I think I read today that Drake 2 is already confirmed.
Uncharted is an excellent introduction to the ps3 for someone like me. This was the first game I purchased last week (along with ratchet and clank), and I am hooked. I originally bought the system for the Blu-ray, but if the quality of gaming is this good I might not ever watch movies again! Hope everyone enjoys Uncharted as much as I am.
